What do you like best about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

What do you like best about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

Absolutely nothing. They have failed to launch me on their POS platform. Training and implementation were promised and not received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

I requested to get refunded my over $3000 contract fee that I had to pay upfront before starting anything. (This is without the equipment) They didn't do their job and denied my request for refund. They did however refund me $138 for the monthly service fee they were charging me though. What an absolute slap to the face. I have tried again and again to get my refund and they deny it. They said their implementation did 50-75% of the onboarding work therefore I cannot get a refund. On my end, I know for a fact that isn't true. It's your word vs theirs and in their best interest for their shareholders, they are going to pocket your money. Not only did I lose over $3000 but also the time I spent trying to get this POS software implemented, the time trying to get my hard earned money back, and the time I took to write this review. Please, all small businesses, stay as far away from this company as possible. They are a leech on your bank account. I have no idea how these people sleep at night because $3000 is a lot for a small business trying to survive out here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

I like that its an all in one system and that you dont have to use a bunch of other systems in order to get the most out of the heartland POS, you can also take payments on your phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

you have to use heartland as a payment processer and you arent able to really negotiate the cost of the payment processing. This is a smaller price to pay for an all in one system and their pricing is pretty fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can see exactly what is happening with my students and my items sales all in 1 location Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

It only reports back 90 days for sales. Sometimes I need to see when the last transaction is for a student or when a Parent made a deposit but it doesn't let me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

I can get the sales reports and supporting data dumps of the items sold at any time- just not the actual cost of the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

There is no month-end inventory report in the out of the box POS set-up. And the sales report does not give you actual unit cost or total cost of the goods sold. To get that info, you must go through multi-steps and Excel functions to back into the inventory totals needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
