I love how simple administration is and that our employees can use it as much as they would like. The variety is also amazing. The fact that our employees can choose different topics, different lengths, and even utilize for their children provides a well rounded approach for everyone. We have a "Mindfulness" chat channel and I do my best to put in live meditation reminders and mindfulness resources, in general, to keep it all front of mind. Recommendations to others considering Headspace: Headspace isn't the full package when offering mental health benefits (ie: therapy), but it is definitely a key piece to offering a 24/7 mindfulness resource! We just began offering Headspace for Work as an offering for our teams earlier this year. We had a modest response when we offered the subscription to our team (about 20% of folks), but those who did sign up seem to love it. I've used the program myself a few times and have found it beneficial to use in my own life to relax and find focus. One of the things I like about the admin panel is that it provides several resources to share with my team to share quick and simple tips for mental wellness, and to use as promotional materials for those who might be interested in a subscription. Though I understand the team's rationale, it is disappointing that I cannot see just how much folks are using the program at an individual level. Because we only have a limited number of subscriptions available to our team, I wish I could see who isn't using the program to remove them and give the seat to someone else who would receive a more substantial benefit from having access. Still, Headspace does offer a weekly, aggregate view of usage, which we can use to plan event programming around for our team on specific issues (work-life balance, time management, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Since the pandemic began and folks began working from home, many folks started to feel more stressed due to economic and social uncertainties. Coupled with internal changes at our organization, this left several team members feeling burnt out. While many of the causes of their stress and anxiety were out of our control, we were at least able to use Headspace programming to help our team members find new ways to improve their wellbeing. I've used a ton of meditation aps, mostly because it makes it easy for me to stay on a daily streak when it comes to my meditation goals. Now that said, Headspace is by far the most user-friendly. For example, after selecting a playlist, you click "play" at then the player opens, and you have to click it again to start.
