**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The possibility to participate in coding competitions and challenges created especially to improve my front-end development abilities is what I appreciate best about HackerEarth for Developers as a front-end developer. It's thrilling to take on challenging issues, work with like-minded programmers, and get credit for my ideas. The site also provides a helpful community where I can learn from others, trade ideas, and keep up with the most recent business trends. All things considered, HackerEarth offers a rich atmosphere that feeds my enthusiasm for frontend programming and aids in my personal and professional development.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

First off, competition deadlines can occasionally be rather rushed, leaving little time for in-depth problem-solving and the investigation of original solutions. This can put me under strain and prevent me from showing off my full capabilities. Despite the platform's helpful community, the feedback and review process for contributions occasionally runs late or without clear justifications, which makes it difficult to identify areas that need improvement. Finally, even though the platform provides a variety of coding challenges, I occasionally wish there were more jobs that were specifically geared towards front-end programming so I could build my expertise in that area.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I significantly benefit from the several challenges that HackerEarth for Developers resolves. First of all, it gives me a platform to hone my coding abilities through a variety of tasks and competitions. This networking opportunity not only widens my professional network but also gives me the chance to learn from others, share ideas, and acquire understanding of various frontend development methodologies. Support from the community develops a feeling of community and offers a useful forum for knowledge exchange.

Additionally, the assessment and feedback mechanism on HackerEarth is really important to my development as a frontend developer. It enables me to get helpful criticism on my entries, which helps me spot problem areas and advance my coding techniques. The assessment procedure serves as a beneficial learning opportunity that aids in the development of my abilities as a frontend developer.

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The hackathons feature that lets us showcase our skills and get hired by the companies that sponsor them is a fantastic feature. This is also a good opportunity to practice and keep up to date with the skills that help us perform well in the interviews and in general at our workplace with good code design documentations that are also provided. I also loved the blogs feature that had articles and simplified ways to solve problems that greatly helped me boost my confidence and become more efficient in coding.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

No support for PM / Designers to practice their skills on the platform. Also, the IDE can be a bit buggy at times during contests peak times. Another feature which i didn't necessarily like was the team collab feature, it was very difficult to see a person's actual experience with coding when adding them to the hackathon team. Something else that I was really expecting was if hacker earth had a feature where they could show what skill sets the user had and what languages were they familiar with.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

Make sure you're familiar with all feature sets and use cases of the platform before fully going all in and implementing it.

What I really loved as a programmer is:
They have topic wise topics and the rated challenges it proves are really helpful. Also, I think it is the most valuable site where most of the companies post recruitment. So, this website helps us finding hackathon, recruitment challenges etc.

We host college coding competition and as a problem setter and admin, I love HackerEarth's functionality the most. They have all the options that we want, from Question wise report, Plagiarism report, Invitation Option to participants and all.
Really hackerearth is the best platform for hosting any coding competition.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The only thing I dislike in HackerEarth is, they question levels are not that much high in rated challenges. They should improve this and they need to take care of answer leak.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve topic wise questions there. When I started programming, I opted HackerEarth because it has question variety and it helps a lot to improve any new coder.

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

HackerEarth provides a very smooth and user-friendly interface for the new users.
It can be said that it's an "All in One" platform for coding which includes practice sessions, contest sessions, Hackathons, and notes for algorithms which makes it very convenient for the users to find all they need in this platform rather than switching tabs to different sites.
One can easily upgrade themself from a beginner to an advanced programmer by starting with the basics and advancing to complex topics.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

It's difficult to find a negative point but if something has to be improved can be that it should also include direct questions rather than a story based question which will save time and also help in analyzing their algorithm concepts.
It should also have company-wise interview preparation tracks like that in Leetcode.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

It is a great platform for the new users as well as advanced programmers as it'll help you to progress with your own pace by starting at the basics and advancing to more complex topics.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently solving graphs and trees and I've been benefited by the notes and with the help of some basic examples and problems.

**Reviewed by:** Aniket A. | Senior Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2020

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The best thing about hackerearth is that it provides regular coding competitions and hosts even the challenges for finding an internship. I also found an intern from here. This also helped me a lot in improving my coding abilities. Also it provides you a chance to host your own challenge in their dashboard. It has a user friendly environment and provides the new comers a better field to interact with. I prefer hackerearth, the most, and also prefers it to my friends. I know it is the best platform for coders all around the world.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The moment I started hackerearth till today, I haven't found any feature which I disliked. But as a suggestion, I want that the dashboard provided to host our own challenges can be a bit more effective.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

This is the best platform in use till date.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had participated in many contests and it helped me a lot to improve my coding, which in turn, had provided me a great career. Also I had participated in many hackathons and even got selected their. This had increased my thinking ability.

  ### 42. "HackerEarth"-The name is enough for programming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash P. | Student Event Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

Hackerearth is like a home for me. I come here daily, see what's going on, participate in the contest, host some competitions and whatnot. It provides one of the best coding platforms available on the Internet. It has an ample amount of different competitions and challenges. I like to solve different levels of difficulties of question which hacker earth provides in a very subtle manner. It has also competitions to host and challenges every month like hacker earth circuits. These all are very helpful in every day for improving our programming and critical thinking skills. There are many other platforms but the inside story is only known by those who use them. I personally use HackerEarth and i know how good it is for students. it is so friendly that even a beginner will find it very comfortable and will be confident in his future journey.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The only one thing I think I dislike is Hackerearth should give us multiple solutions to one problem after the contest is over which can help each student to analyze and assess themselves and see where they were going wrong. Also, a bit of improvement of User Interface will lead HackerEarth to be the best and leader in the coding field for decades to come.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't think I am facing any problem to be precise. Just a suggestion to improve the user interface and solutions of questions after the contest is over. And, I am getting intuitions about these changes on HackerEarth.

  ### 43. Best Interface for anyone to learn coding.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aadil S. | Intern, Computer Networking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

I realized the helpfulness of hackerearth website when i delivered a session on "Competitive Programming" as i am a core member of the Developer Student Club at our college. So as the title says we required some good problems at beginner level with a platform that could help us all work and learn together. At that time hackerearth was the most useful thing as it allowed us all to focus on a single problem and solve it independently. Thus hackerearth is very much helpful in organizing such sessions on Programming where people learn concurrently.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

Actually there are no downsides i have seen till yet, but as a suggestion i would like to say you can improve a bit more in design of website that would be attractive & helpful as well.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As it is my final year, it is pretty obvious that i am on a " Job - Hunt " . In the beginning I attended some exams of some companies and that kind of gave me a lot of experience of how would the exams at off campus drives of various companies would be. I cleared the TCS NQT 2020 test with the help of prior experience that i got from hackerearth.

  ### 44. HackerEarth - A great experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minhajul H. | Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

HackerEarth provides a really good platform to create tests online across the internet. I like the feature that anyone can give the test, whether by inviting selective students or making a public link. Question selection and so many options to set a test make it easy to create a well-made test for the students. Adding of admins, so they can also configure the test (according to the permission given to them). The selection of code language gives a larger scope to perform code in which students feel comfortable. The thing which I liked the most is its feature to give the analytic report of every student and graph with details to show the performance. Even the technical support is very helpful and supportive. The leaderboard is also one feature that is very useful to see to whom we are competing.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

Sometimes the recruiter website does not work properly, but after reporting they fix it up soon. Some test cases also fail even if they are right. I can't able to upload multiple test cases some time. While selecting questions from the library there were very few questions to select. Even one question was not with the test cases.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

For the student who wants to build knowledge and participate in multiple programming contests along with the hackathon, it will provide a great opportunity. Spending daily half an hour will be very helpful for developing logical and technical knowledge.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving different problems and competitions on HackerEarth. Taken part in many hackathons, submitted many ideas and still trying to submit many more. It provides a great platform and much interactive competition which really helps me build my logical knowledge.

  ### 45. The Best platform for competitive programmers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manik G. | Campus Ambassador, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

Solving a no. of different questions in different categories really helped me a lot to improve my programming skills and it is very easy to choose difficulty level of questions. You can see a lot of hackathons going on by different companies just because companies trust that hackerearth is a good platform to find good coders around the world . Coding competitions and CodeArena are best way to compete with other coders and these are available on Hackerearth.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The only thing anybody would dislike is the no. of different test cases but believe me that those test cases are just to improve your problem solving skills as it may happen that you made another logic but that logic fails in some test cases. So it is a very good thing to clear all concepts by thinking of different test cases.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

I always recommend my friends and followers to use Hackerearth to improve their programming skills and to compete with other coders around the world and also to take part in hackathons organized by different companies.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Different kinds of problems like lack of confidence while solving questions using Data Structures and Algorithms and fear of participating in any competition have solved after using Hackerearth. I realized that everyone must participate in competitive programming competitions to polish their skills and to practice any topic Hackerearth is the best platform.

  ### 46. Competitive questions provided by HackerEarth Community

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonali S. | Campus Ambassador, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

HackerEarth is a huge and very much supportive community in terms of placement preparations and competitive coding. It gives a better platform for influential programmers, coders and developers to get their hands dirty on various competitive problems and assignments, tests. All in one,it provides great environment for all year students.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

In early days of collage, when a new comer or non-technical student comes to collage and hears about this great platform i.e Hackerearth then he/she visits the platform and at first ,they found the level of questions a but difficult and out of their scope at that time so I wanted to suggest that just include some basic level questions, practice tests for those students so that they can also connect to the enlightening platform.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HackerEarth is best suited for competitive programming background and it helped me a lot to getting prepared for collage placements and competitions. It helped me a lot to boost up my confidence in technical skills and programming languages.

  ### 47. Perfecting Competitive Programming through HackerEarth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dushyant P. | Technology Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

Through HackerEarth, I was introduced to a step wise exhaustive theory and practice in Competitive Programming and DSA, complete with tutorials, and a range of practice questions from easy to tough. I have interfaced with HackerEarth as a platform for many coding challenges in internship profiles for companies like American Express, Sprinklr, LinkedIn. The code editor UI is easy to use and attractive.

Tutorials on HackerEarth are detailed and written in easy to understand language, complete with examples so that I can actually feel the concept and not just mug up facts. The questions are challenging, and well worth the effort.

HackerEarth also provided with organizer dashboard for organizing Hackathons, complete with submission portal, keeping track of the number of students, and thus provides a holistic experience.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

No serious downsides that I can see, but it'd be awesome if HackerEarth tried out its hand in tutorials for Full Stack and Android Development too. Also, there are times when you just wish to give content a brief view over, we could have a section for the same.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

If you are looking for competitive coding practice, reading up concepts on Data Structures and Algorithms, HackerEarth is the way to go. For companies who wish to host coding challenges, HackerEarth has a very good UI with a definitive judgemental setup to ease the process.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve Competitive Programming, DSA problems on HackerEarth and it has helped me read through concepts and apply them easily.

  ### 48. Great Platform for Competitive Programming

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mridul G. | Teaching Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

1. Data Structures notes and editorials are very precise and efficient for new learners.
2. Detailed tutorials with examples help you to understand the concept with ease.
3. You can start from the very easy to hard problems which keeps you interested in the topic and gradually
    you can master any topic.
4. Platform both for learning the concept, practicing and competing in the competitions.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

There is nothing really that i can mention here but i can say it would be great if hackerearth provides solutions for the problems immediately after the contests are over. Other than this, I would really say Best platdform

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started with the fundamentals of Data structures and algorithms and now i feel i can solve almost any hard problem. Concepts are so clear that i can easily think of a good algorithm!

  ### 49. HackerEarth - One of the best platform for Competitive Coding and Hackathons.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam N. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

There are many things which makes HackerEarth one of the best coding platform:-
1-> HackerEarth provides a very clean and easy to understand user interface for the new coders. They can easily navigate to contests section and as well as practice section.
2-> One of the best feature of this platform is that we need not to visit diiferent platforms for competitive programming and hackathons.
competitive programmers can practice the problems and participate in the live contests and developers can also participate in the hackathons.
3-> For beginners DS Algorithms notes are good reference material and best way to practice.
4-> Different sections having practice questions for different Algorithms makes it easy to pratice and saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

In my opinion HackerEarth should change their method of judging a solution. They should provide partial points only when all the test cases under that constraint range are correct otherwise a Wrong Answer verdict should be there.
HackerEarth has less number of rated short contests in a month. So I would suggest them to organize more rated short contests as they are more important from hiring point of view.
Proper Editorials should be published after the contest is ended.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

I would highly recommend HackerEarth to my peers to develop new skills and improve competitive coding and try to participate in the hiring challenges organized on regular basis.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main purpose of me using HackerEarth is for learning Data Structures and Algorithms so now I practice different advanced questions on the platform and now I am actively participating in evey months short contest and circuits.

  ### 50. Journey of Competitive learning-Beginners to Expert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapil B. | Technical Content Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2019

**What do you like best about HackerEarth for Developers?**

The best part of hackerearth is the code monk. Through it, any beginner can start learning programming through the 18 tracks divided into sub-tracks with a lot of questions in them. You can start from very easy and move to hard problems. An expert(or someone with a good hold on programming) can also start practising previous challenges questions to make him job-ready. There are rated challenges too with hiring challenges etc. which you can do to know where you stand.

**What do you dislike about HackerEarth for Developers?**

I dislike the hackerearth's decision to remove circles from the website as that used to be our monthly practising partner. Also, I have a suggestion. It would be better if Hackerearth uses different divisions for different programmers in rated contests based on their skills. Also, it would be better if we can compete with our friends too in the coding arena. Rest everything is fine till now.

**Recommendations to others considering HackerEarth for Developers:**

There are a lot of online environments for coding. But I personally recommend hackerearth to all of those who don't use Hackerearth. If you don't believe try it for a month or two and then decide whether I am right or wrong. You will surely start using it and also recommend others for the same.

**What problems is HackerEarth for Developers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I participate often in rated contests of HackerEarth.Although not eligible, sometimes in hiring challenges too just for practice. Also, hackerearth helps our college society to organise competitions for the members.
