H1 Platform Pricing FAQs

Is H1 Platform free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, H1 Platform does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is H1 Platform pricing best suited for?

H1 Platform's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise organizations with active, ongoing security programs that require managed triage, a vetted researcher community, and structured bounty operations. G2 reviewers from industries including financial services, information technology, automotive, banking, and retail dominate the review base, reflecting H1 Platform's strongest adoption in regulated and security-sensitive sectors. Mid-market companies with limited internal security headcount frequently cite H1 Platform as a cost-effective alternative to building in-house pentesting capacity. G2 reviews suggest smaller businesses may find H1 Platform's pricing steep relative to their budgets, making it less ideal for early-stage or resource-constrained teams.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of H1 Platform?

G2's pricing data for H1 Platform shows no publicly listed free tier or standard paid tiers. H1 Platform operates on a custom-quote enterprise model, meaning pricing is negotiated based on program scope, triage service levels, bounty volume, and feature requirements. According to G2 reviewers, H1 Platform's paid plans include managed triage, CSM support, AI-assisted report summarization via HAI, Jira and Slack integrations, bounty payout infrastructure, and VDP or bug bounty program hosting. There is no evidence in G2 data of a free version. Organizations evaluating H1 Platform's pricing should expect custom contracts rather than self-serve tier selection.

Is H1 Platform considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly rate H1 Platform highly, with most mid-market and enterprise users affirming it delivers strong ROI despite premium pricing. Multiple G2 reviewers explicitly flag high costs as a concern, particularly at scale, with one enterprise reviewer citing 'high pricing' and another noting 'premiums to run on the platform can be quite high.' Yet the same reviewers award 4.0 to 5.0 stars, framing H1 Platform as a worthwhile investment for proactive vulnerability discovery. One mid-market reviewer notes pricing is 'very competitive for existing customers upgrading capabilities.' Smaller organizations flag affordability as a barrier, making H1 Platform a premium-tier commitment best justified by active, high-volume security programs.

"Straightforward, Practical Vulnerability Management with Clear Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about H1 Platform?

I like how straightforward and practical it is. It makes it easy to work with hackers, keep track of vulnerabilities, and manage everything in one place without it feeling heavy or complicated. It also gives good visibility into what actually matters, which helps when you need to explain things to leadership or prioritize fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H1 Platform?

For busy programs, the number of notification emails that arrive every morning can be very confusing. It would be really helpful if these updates could be summarized so it’s clearer what’s happening at a glance. Right now, some emails include responses from the HackerOne team, while others are usually responses from our team, and it’s hard to quickly tell them apart. A simple summary would make it much easier to keep everything organized and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Huge Bug Bounty Reach, But Cost Too Damn High"
3.5/5
What do you like best about H1 Platform?

It's the biggest bug bounty platform in terms of both programs and researchers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H1 Platform?

It's prohibitively expensive, and the more successful your program is, the more it costs. BugCrowd is considerably more affordable and doesn't have tiered price increases for growing your program. I'd rather more money go to researchers than 50% of our budget going to H1 platform fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
