I use GstarCAD mainly for correcting electrical diagrams and drawing building plans for switchgears. The coding support and macros with shortcuts significantly speed up my job, enabling me to draw clear and concise schematics that I can share with clients. I like that it doesn't have much bloat, which makes using the program fast and easy, and it generally does what I need. I really appreciate that I can start working right away without getting lost in countless menus like with other software. Additionally, I found it very intuitive to write a custom PDF importing tool for GstarCAD, and I love the interface. Transitioning from AutoCAD was smooth and easy, and now 20 people at my company use GstarCAD daily for various purposes. If someone is looking for CAD drawing software, I think GstarCAD is the best option on the market since I've had pretty much no problems with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much support for exporting multiple pages of PDF. I need to open another program to do it. That's a pain and I wish there was an easier way to do it inside of GstarCAD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
