Excellent learning academy, and fabulous customer support, it has great features for clients to generate leads and collect data around their event participation. Added features that enable handling of multiple programmes at one event and it being able to scan leads, plus integration capability, its a great tool for event companies looking to add value for clients and encourage rebook/retention while giving delegates/visitors a superb event guide and event experience. **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** So many features, its hard to find the time to implement all of it! **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing a feature rich event guide for visitors at an event with mulitple events on one day with a shared exhibition area Enhanced features for clients invested as sponsors in the programme to generate leads and additional brand awareness. Always go above and beyond, response times are flawless and always so patient with me when i'm being dense about how to do stuff -nothing is ever too much work for them! The updated platform is also incredibly easy to use - and the new clone event function is a dream! It makes replicating our events in different locations so much easier and saves loads of time! We're also very fortunate that it integrates well with several other platforms that we use! **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** There are some minor things that can feel a little clunky at times... but nothing so un manageable that it majorly hinders the UX. **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's not a problem per say - but as event organisers it's become a standarised expectation to help to drive matchmaking and networking and grip does this. ### 3. The first year might require some more work to setup and learn how to use all features, but once you have that everything can just be cloned for the following years. The customer support is great, very helpful and understanding of any issues and questions you may have. **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** Browsing through the platform as a user has some drawbacks – there’s no return button, you have to press ‘home’ or again on the tab you’re visiting to go back to the previous page and it goes back to the top of the page; you can’t open a profile on another tab, there is no right click available). Also, for the BIF Market in particular, it would be useful to be able to request meetings with projects and connect to all people linked to it, instead of just being able to request meetings with individual people. **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly to have an online part of the event. ### 5. It makes my job as an Organiser that little bit easier, and compliments the experience that we design and strive to deliver for all of our attendees. On the backend, there is lots of flexibility as well which is greatly appreciate. I think what I like best about Grip Events however, is the team. I am over 5 years into working with them now and the team are always willing to help and are genuinely invested in helping us to deliver the best event possible. They are continually striving to improve, and the number of actualy useful product updates is a clear sign to me that they listen to our needs and feedback to improve their product. Most recently, I have integrated the App with Hubspot and I was really impressed with how easy and simple this was. Its really improved our customer experience, ensuring all attendees get access to the App within 15 minutes of signing up! **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** Nothing- the Team and Product is excellent! In terms of developments, I would love to see Teams become an App based feature, and not just Desktop, as this does occasionally cause friction with our Clients. As well as see the Teams function become more intuitive or clear when a Sponsor first signs into the platform. I'd also love to see a way of attendees sharing sessions or inviting attendees to their sessions through the App. Finally, the networking is the bread and butter and is what makes this App excellent but some of the wider event features such as Q&A could see some further development. **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grip provides us with an App that enables attendees to see the attendee list and book meetings, enhancing networking opportunities onsite. It provides all attendees their pocket guide for the day, planning where they will go and what they will do. Rather than our clients having a separate lead scanner for their lead gen, we run all badge scanning through the app which is a brilliant UX for our sponsors- one device, on app and they can do all of their networking and lead gen. The new session scanning feature also has the potential to provide further benefits, providing all Sponsor Data in one portal for them to download immediately and in real time. ### 6. Our delegates are particularly happy about how user-friendly the interface is as well as the quality of their meetings organised through Grip. As organisers, Grip allows us to schedule thousands of highly personalised 1:1 meetings efficiently. The meeting scheduling functionalities are essential to us and have been developed over several years, resulting in excellent satisfaction from our clients. We're also able to offer a personalised experience to the different types of delegates who attend our events. Last but not least, Grip allows our different event brands to really shine thanks to excellent UX personalisation options available. **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** Just like working with any external provider, Grip features are not always 100% perfectly fit to our requirements but their support team offer good advice on alternatives, and the product is designed to allow organisers to integrate with other platforms or link externally very easily. We've also found reporting/analytics could be harder to get but this is an area of focus which is rapidly improving at the moment. **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grip helps us organise pre-scheduled meetings for hundreds of delegates at our events: each meeting must guarantee the best potential business outcome. Thanks to Grip we're also able to deliver the highly tailored communications our delegates expect, based on their attendance, preferences, etc. ### 7. The platform is easy to use once you have used it for the first time and the team providing speedy ongoing support during event setup. **What do you dislike about Grip Events?** There are some design and element limitations on the site which take time to overcome or figure out a workaround. They are not completely demobilsing, but sometimes have to get creative to match our needs or what we expect to be able to include on a page. **What problems is Grip Events solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Grip primarily for 1-1 meeting match-making and agenda selections for our event.
