The command line interface can be a bit confusing at first, especially since there's no real GUI. It takes a bit of getting used to. What do you like best about Graphviz?

It sorts and analyzes vast amounts of data every day. It was so fascinating that its scalability, efficiency, and user-friendliness are amazing for manipulating large bulk of data. What do you dislike about Graphviz?

A slow initial launch (of application) causes users to lose a lot of time in doing the job. At the beginning, I realised that Graphvis was difficult enough, but in the end Graphvis became something special to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Graphviz solving and how is that benefiting you?

It deals with cloud resource problems, data management complications, instant analytics requirements, data integration issues and application development obstacles. Although it is very interesting to use, you can also get involved more; right from how they made it a free service, I enjoyed every bit of it. As an advantage it is a trustworthy as well as an expandable system that gives the possibility to keep, work with and analyze data. What do you like best about Graphviz?

Graphviz is a smart decoder ring for data. As I process and release, it takes those complicated relationships and gives me clear, colorful maps that my brain can understand. Whether it's visualizing distant inter-webs or Spider-Man's way of thinking, Graphviz makes the our invisible visible. This way of writing covers a lot, being at the same moment very simple and strong. What do you dislike about Graphviz?

Graphviz did not provided me with the easy-drag-and-drop feature. The learning curve may seem like an Everest to the beginners like me, if you want to customize more than basics. But the command-line interface, that’s where real developers come in – even me as a GUI lovers can’t stand it. The information, even though it is elaborate, can seem like a maze sometimes. And Graphviz does customization well, but if you are looking for hyper-artistic, Instagram worthy graphs like me, there might be other options for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Graphviz solving and how is that benefiting you?

Graphviz is my tool of choice for disentangling messy systems and to detect the choke-points of the critical path. Today, my team works smarter but not harder with these visual roadmaps which has been the case. It is like having X-ray vision for the purpose of following the secret threads in my job. What do you like best about Graphviz?

The text-to-graph approach Graphviz offers sets it apart from other graph visualization tools. Often times graph visualization tools do not support various data formats, making it challenging to import data from different sources or formats, and thus adding extra data processing steps. With Graphviz, I have saved hours of time that would go on preparing data for visualization. I love the customization options available for shapes, hyperlinks, line styles and more.
