In my job, I always need CAD data in different types of formats and from different sources to check the quality of a CAD system. Honestly, this library makes all the difference for me. **What do you dislike about GrabCAD Library?** The login system isn’t smooth. It often fails to remember my password, and logging in with Gmail single sign-on doesn’t work reliably. The library filter also needs improvement, and I’d like to see an AI search feature added. **What problems is GrabCAD Library solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me gather all types of CAD files from different sources to validate a CAD system. It also provides existing concepts for some products, which makes it easier to continue working and develop them further. ### 2. The community makes this site a great option to get a starter model on which you can build upon **What do you dislike about GrabCAD Library?** I did not find file formats speicific to BIM software which was being used. Some models also had trouble loading all the textures in Twinmotion which made my work a bit frustating. **What problems is GrabCAD Library solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing models to the community to build upon so that developers and designers don't have to start from scratch. I like that they have groups and tutorials. It feels like a niche forum. ### 3. It contains so much models for multiple industries. It contains mechanical, automobile components as well as home interior ready to use models and it's really innovative. **What do you dislike about GrabCAD Library?** Main pain point is for SOLIDWORKS users. Downloaded assemblies from grabCAD has missing mates. Which becomes a big task is user need to use these models for any other assemblies. **What problems is GrabCAD Library solving and how is that benefiting you?** GrabCAD providing open environment for design innovators special students to model something innovative and post it for others. Browsing CAD models is free and it is easy to search for what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend GrabCAD Library to a friend or colleague. **What problems is GrabCAD Library solving and how is that benefiting you?** When trying to come up with solutions to problems especially in an engineering disciplined field, it is nice to be able to browse other ideas to brainstorm.
