GovComply Reviews & Product Details

GovComply is an AI-powered compliance automation platform specifically designed for mid-sized defense manufacturers. It centralizes all compliance obligations defined under acquisition.gov—including FAR, DFARS, and CAS compliance—within a unified contract management experience. Operating above existing ERP systems, GovComply provides complete traceability across the contract and supplier-quality lifecycle, ensuring that compliance officers and controllers can efficiently manage their responsibilities without overhauling their current infrastructure. The platform addresses the significant time burden faced by compliance officers, who often spend 20–40% of their working hours on manual documentation, clause tracking, and audit evidence assembly. By transforming obligations such as FAR 52.215-2 and DFARS 252.204-7012 into living, auditable controls, GovComply enables continuous validation and readiness for audit events, effectively reducing the reliance on manual processes and minimizing the risk of non-compliance. GovComply's architecture is built around three key steps: 1. **Mapping Obligations**: The platform automatically maps every active contract to its applicable FAR and DFARS clauses using the acquisition.gov regulatory database. This includes tracking clause flowdown to subcontractors within the same system, ensuring comprehensive oversight of compliance requirements. 2. **Continuous Validation**: The AI Validator performs ongoing checks against documentation, flagging gaps before they become findings. This proactive approach ensures that when the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) initiates an audit, the necessary evidence packages are already prepared, reducing the typical pre-audit scramble. 3. **ERP Integration**: While maintaining the existing ERP system, GovComply adds a compliance layer that reads from the ERP and regulatory sources, validates continuously, and produces audit evidence on demand. This integration ensures that compliance management is seamless and does not disrupt existing workflows. The platform includes a comprehensive suite of modules tailored to the needs of compliance officers: - **Clause Tracker**: Provides a clause-by-clause compliance matrix for every active contract, displaying status, evidence links, and remediation actions in a single view. - **Document Vault**: Centralizes all contract documents, linking them to the clauses they support. Documents are traceable, versioned, and audit-ready. - **AI Validator**: Conducts compliance checks against acquisition.gov, identifying documentation gaps and recommending remediation steps. - **Audit Package Generator**: Produces DCAA-ready evidence packages for incurred cost audits, Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR), and floor checks, complete with Bates-stamping and indexing. - **Audit Timeline**: Offers a visual chronology of DCAA exposure windows and compliance milestones, helping organizations anticipate and prepare for audits. - **Subcontractor Flowdown**: Enforces DFARS clause flowdown across the supply chain, tracking acknowledgment status per subcontractor and per contract. - **Open Actions Workbench**: Aggregates all open compliance actions across contracts, prioritizing them by severity, assigning them by role, and tracking them to closure. - **Contract Portfolio Dashboard**: Provides a cross-contract dashboard with compliance scores and 90-day trends, offering a comprehensive view of portfolio health. Security is a cornerstone of GovComply's design. The platform is hosted exclusively in AWS GovCloud (US), ensuring that all data is stored in a FedRAMP High pre-authorized environment suitable for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Encryption at rest and in transit is FIPS 140-2 compliant, and the architecture aligns with DoD Impact Level 2 for CUI handling. Additionally, GovComply is undergoing a SOC 2 Type II audit to further validate its security posture. By integrating these features, GovComply streamlines compliance management for defense manufacturers, reducing manual workload, enhancing accuracy, and ensuring readiness for audits, all while maintaining the integrity of existing ERP systems.
