**Vendor:** GovBidWire
**Category:** [Government Procurement Software](https://www.g2.com/categories/government-procurement)
## About GovBidWire
GovBidWire is a self-serve search and alert tool for companies that sell to government, built for small and mid-size contractors who want published pricing instead of a sales call. Federal coverage comes from SAM.gov and includes all 50 states by place of performance. Direct state and local feeds run in 30+ states, with the deepest coverage in Texas, New York, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and California. Contractors can search by keyword, including text inside bid documents, plus NAICS code, state, agency type, and small-business set-aside status such as 8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, and HUBZone. A saved search sends a daily email alert with a deep link straight to each matching bid, so nothing has to be tracked manually across multiple portals. The free tier covers search and one daily alert. Premium, at $39 per month, adds full bid descriptions, attachments, buyer and contracting-officer contacts, incumbent and comparable award history, set-aside eligibility coaching checked against a company profile, and a pursuit pipeline for tracking bid and no-bid decisions. Team, at $149 per month, adds a shared workspace with owners, notes, and tasks for teams pursuing bids together. Every plan starts with a 14-day Premium trial with documents unlocked and no credit card required, then moves to published, self-serve pricing with no quote gate and no sales call. Plans can be canceled anytime from the account page, with no annual lock-in. GovBidWire does not monitor every procurement portal in the country. Coverage is federal-wide plus the state and local feeds listed above. Contractors whose work falls mostly outside those states should check for open bids on the site before subscribing, to confirm coverage fits their pursuit list.
