It's not exactly something I hate but I've noticed whenever I ask Gemini to generate an image using a prompt, the first response is never accurate so I have to run 2-3 more rounds with it to finally get the desired image. Gemini is quite capable in its responses to me, nonetheless, it’s an AI. I felt, A few times, Gemini’s responses were delayed and felt inconsistent. There were moments when I was referring to something different, but it assumed. I meant something else, so the response changed and didn’t match what I was asking. Later, I had to clarify my point for Gemini to finally understand. Because of that, it occasionally misunderstood instructions and gave answers that required me to provide additional information. Still, it’s not a major issue for me, to be honest. One more thing Gemini needs is better tracking of previous chats, because it would be easier to keep moving forward with projects. What I actually like about Gemini is how practical and real it is for the sort of things you do on a day to day basis. It's something I use all the time in my engineering studies, for debugging code and for getting advice on technical roadmaps. If I'm stuck on anything at all it'll walk you through it from the very beginning, step by step, like a very patient tutor.

Image and screenshot recognition is by far the feature I use most. If I've got a screenshot of an error, some technical notes or even a product detail/photo and I want a quick bit of advice then it picks up the visual context perfectly.

Another major advantage is the conversational language support. It's absolutely natural and friendly when you're talking to it in Bengali rather than sounding stiff and robotic. The built-in text to speech audio reader also speaks very clean, fluent Bengali which is a massive timesaver when you're trying to listen to a long explanation. What really bugs me is its tendency to go straight for the generic textbook definition rather than any practical, real world common sense. In a lot of practical situations it just completely ignores real world logic and comes across as being very theoretical. If you point out a clear error it will just keep on over-apologising for ages without in any way actually changing its logic.

​Another big pain point is the sheer length of time it takes to process large documents or files. You end up with a very long processing time for larger deliverables and it's not uncommon to get network timeout or connection interrupted errors part way through, which then means you have to start again from scratch.

​Last of all the mobile app's background state management is absolutely frustrating. If you just minimize the app to check another message for a couple of seconds it very frequently reloads from scratch rather than staying in the background.
