The ease of defining and managing the firewall rules and services and applying it to the application is all what you can ask for. It does provide an interactive and effective monitoring system to navigate the data. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Firewall?** It sometimes limits the volume of data being exchanged. Using Google Cloud Firewall with any other third party service can be a bit tacky and would require expertise. **What problems is Google Cloud Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?** Google Cloud Firewall helps in having a uniform security posture across all the regions and zones which helps in ensuring the expected safety net. Google Cloud Firewall very smoothly can be extended to your Kafka or Pub/Sub Service for queue service. ### 2. It's an part of network helps us to protect the services **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Firewall?** It is limited to VPC Networks. It is limited to controlling traffic within the context of VPC networks and does not extend directly to resources outside of GCP or to other cloud environments. **What problems is Google Cloud Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Google cloud firewall, i can easily deny the access to specific IP address to a VM. ### 3. It is very easy to scp into VMs and manage them. It is easy to add your public keys to the VMs so you can access them from your local machine. Implementing scripted VMs, images from the marketplace or just using default Linux or Windows images is pretty easy. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Firewall?** I wish it was more popular than it is. It is missing all the latest services that other cloud products are providing like AI models etc. The one complicated part that I don't like is network management. You need to create and add tags at a few different places to use a particular network on a VM. **What problems is Google Cloud Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?** I like how uncomplicated the UI is and you can get elastic IPs easier on GCloud vs other cloud products.
