GoGuardian Teacher Reviews & Product Details

This tool is flexible and gives teachers control of their classrooms. I only wish more of my teachers took full advantage of everything GG Teacher can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, there's not one thing I don't like about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to view live time what students are working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have no dislikes with GoGuardian, the program works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I have the ability to view my students' activity and site visitations. I can also provide immediate feedback and answer individual questions remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The off task notification is not always accurate, probably because of how I initially set it up for traditional classwork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Go Guardian, I am able to get my middle school students started on the lesson immediately when they walk in the door. I can track their progress on assignments when I have substitute teachers, and I can ensure that they stay on-task during lessons. I love the ease of use and the chat feature to gently nudge students back on-task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't dislike anything, honestly. I've tried out similar products that all feel much clunkier and intrusive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoGuardian Teacher is the superior website. In my eyes, there is no other competition because they do exactly what you want them to do and they do it WELL! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Chat function can be slow/nonfunctional sometimes, however, this has usually been during the epidemic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to see my students screens especially when we were out due to COVID Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish when you sent a message to a student, it was more obvious to the student so they would look at it sooner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoGuardian is much more than a luxury for teachers, it’s a necessity! I couldn’t imagine teaching in a 1 to 1 classroom without it. As a company they are always coming out with more features and continuing to improve their product which keeps them head and shoulders above other digital classroom management softwares. The only thing that would make GoGuardian better is if it was free Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me control a classroom of chromebooks when I teach Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thumbnails are too small in teacher session view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ability to have GG running while my students are working. It allows me to focus on helping them, especially when using the chat feature. Students who are usually afraid to ask questions ask them on there, and I'm able to provide instant feedback on what they are currently working on in real time. I would like more control per student. For example, if a student is off task, I can close their tab or lock their screen. However, if they are working on an assignment requiring their Chromebook, I'd rather not lock them out completely. I would like the ability to provide a screen solely to one student; providing guidance in improving digital citizenship skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been able to block sites that I know my students will use as distractions during their learning time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes, rarely, there are certain features of sites that I cannot block. For example, I tried blocking the “Snake” game that you can play straight from Google Search, but was unsuccessful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
