We used to run our WordPress websites on GoDaddy's standard hosting plan, which was usually on the slow side. GoDaddy's WordPress hosting package has given our websites faster loading times regardless of the types of media that are included in it. The WordPress hosting interface in GoDaddy has a clean design with simple features that anyone in our team can use without problems. We didn't have to deal with any of the complex installation and database processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Though I like many of the WordPress templates that GoDaddy provides, I don't think there is as diverse a selection as I'd like. I've seen some other web builder companies that offer way more templates with more varied designs for different industries and uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting set up with GoDaddy's WordPress hosting plan is just about as easy as their standard hosting plans. I like that this plan focuses primarily on the needs specific to WordPress websites. There are many different settings, database issues and other requirements that can make using WordPress complicated, so it's great that GoDaddy packages all the various elements that are crucial for WP management in their control panel. The pricing for my plan is a bit higher than many other similar plans for WordPress websites. I like to use this one since I've used GoDaddy for years and have other hosting plans with them. If I could have more control over settings and greater access to source files in a smooth way, that could also make me like this plan more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Price is cheap when compared to other providers. Very easy to use and install WordPress to domain names. Control panel is user-friendly. Consumer service is good. Very fast to connect chat customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When contacting customer service they force other products and services from GoDaddy. Before, I was getting discounts at renewal time. But nowadays, no discounts for renewal products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do no dislike anything yet, I'm sorry to inform you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This option is cheaper than and easier to get started instead of purchasing the Linux hosting service and installing wordpress because a lot of the setting are pre-configured for you on GoDaddy Wordpress Hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I noticed when I use a heavy wordpress theme with Godaddy Wordpress Hosting, the site a much slower than when I used wordpress with Linux hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After years of using this hosting, I guess the only thing that is somewhat good is the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Just about everything. The hosting is very bad for WordPress sites and when WP updated and required the new PHP, GoDaddy did not update their servers, they just put a note in your hosting for a website that you need to manually update by choosing. This caused many issues on all sites because they auto updated WordPress to a version that their servers could not handle. When we manually updated the server, one site was completely wiped out (all database erased) and we tried reverting to a previous backup with no luck. When we called customer service they said it was up and working (they must have done something while on the phone). When we had an issue with another site, they told us that it would cost us money for them to fix it. And on top of all that, all WordPress sites on this hosting are very slow. The absolute best thing about this plan is their one-click site migration tool. Transferring a site manually is complicated and uncertain. Their tool literally requires you to enter the url and click a button and they do everything else! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of their support staff are extremely knowledgeable, but a few of them could use a little more technical training. But all were helpful and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
