Global-Desk AI Assistant for Outlook Reviews & Product Details

Global-Desk AI Assistant for Outlook is an AI email assistant that runs directly inside Microsoft Outlook Classic for Windows. Instead of copying message text into a browser-based chatbot, users work with AI where their email already lives: in the reading pane, in the reply window, in the message they have open right now. The add-in installs as a local Outlook extension and adds a task pane alongside the mailbox. From there, users can summarize long email threads in seconds, generate context-aware reply drafts, compose new messages from a few keywords, translate incoming and outgoing mail while preserving HTML formatting, rewrite text in a chosen tone, and extract structured data such as invoice details or meeting requests. Every action is based on the message currently selected, so the output reflects the actual conversation rather than a generic prompt. Global-Desk AI Assistant for Outlook was built for small and mid-sized businesses that handle high volumes of multilingual correspondence: hospitality, professional services, real estate, law firms, and the managed service providers who support them. The interface is available in German and English, and translation covers any language pair the underlying model supports, which makes it particularly useful for teams communicating with international clients and suppliers. Cost transparency is a core part of the product. Every AI request is logged per Windows user, including the feature used, token consumption, and cost in euros. Administrators can see exactly which department or employee is generating which spend, which turns AI usage from an unpredictable line item into a measurable one. This also allows IT service providers to allocate or re-bill usage to individual client accounts. Subscription management, invoicing with correct Austrian and EU VAT handling, and usage statistics are available through a self-service customer portal. The solution is developed and operated by Global-Desk GmbH in Austria. Data is processed within a GDPR-compliant framework, mailboxes are never mirrored or synchronized into third-party storage, and only the content a user actively selects for a request is transmitted. For enterprise rollouts, API credentials can be distributed centrally through the Windows registry, so end users never handle keys themselves. Deployment uses a standard Windows installer and requires no Exchange-side configuration or tenant-wide admin consent. Global-Desk AI Assistant for Outlook supports Microsoft Outlook Classic on Windows. A free trial is available, and support is provided in German and English directly by the development team.
