Gist GEO Reviews & Product Details

Gist GEO is the AI visibility platform for generative engine optimization (GEO) that shows brands where, when and how they appear in AI search answers across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and what to do to be mentioned, cited and recommended more often and more accurately. As more buyers research and shortlist through AI answers instead of search results pages, a brand can rank well on Google and still be missing from the AI answer. Gist GEO measures AI visibility across three stages that map to the marketing funnel: being mentioned (awareness), being cited as a source (consideration) and being recommended (decision). How it works: 1. Build your brand profile. Gist GEO scans your website to pre-fill your URL, name, description and categories. You then refine the profile with your value propositions, target customer segments, topics and seed terms, which keeps your prompts, reports and recommendations focused on your business. 2. Choose your prompts. Gist GEO suggests prompts based on your profile, and you select the ones that matter. Prompts run in two modes: Basic Tracking: Your full set of prompts runs weekly on every engine in your plan, showing where you appear, who gets cited and how you compare with the competitors that actually show up alongside you. Deep Analysis: Your most important prompts run repeatedly until the answers are consistent. Recommendations come from Deep Analysis. 3. Review your brand health. Metrics update weekly and include: Share of Voice, Cited When Found, Share of Citations, Share of Found Links, Placement, Average Ranking in Lists, Sentiment, Earned Media Score and Share of Recommendations 4. Act on Recommendations and verify. Work through each Recommendation, track its progress from start to completion, and see what moved as your metrics update each week. Gist GEO also shows which sources AI cites most for each prompt, using attribution technology from ProRata, Gist's parent company.
