"Accurate IP Geolocation with a Fast, Developer-Friendly JSON API"

What do you like best about Geoplugin?

The mapping of IP to location is accurate. Most of the time, I make use of the JSON API for split redirection based on geographical region and latency is always low. Our developers used IPAPI to build a currency detection feature in a few hours without any special support. Documentation is easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Geoplugin?

The information within Management Console could have better presentation. The user interface looks a bit outdated in comparison to some of the other software’s UI. MC is fully operational, but the design would be such that the operations team can work more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Geoplugin solving and how is that benefiting you?

To deliver localized pricing and media content based on the user’s origin, we needed a tool that provided different languages. The application will provide us information about the country and currency of a user. Geoplugin assisted us here. Using this plugin we can track the country same as currency of a user.
