"Perfect for on-device processing and basic AI tasks"
4/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

What I like most is how fast and light it is. Being able to run a model locally on device without needing massive GPU memory is huge for privacy and saving money on APIs. For a 1B model, it handles basic instructions and quick text processing surprisingly well, plus the low latency makes it great for real time stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

Its main drawback is definitely complex reasoning and multi step math or coding. Because of the small 1B size it gets confused easily on longer prompts or complicated logic. Also lacking the 128k context window that the larger Gemma sizes have is a bit limiting for big documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gemma 3 4B: High-Quality Multilingual Results with Efficient Local Deployment"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

Gemma 3 4B offers an excellent balance between model capability and efficiency. It produces high-quality responses, performs well across multilingual tasks, and is lightweight enough to support practical local deployment. Its strong performance, combined with straightforward integration into modern AI workflows, makes it a reliable choice for evaluating, prototyping, and building AI-powered applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

Although Gemma 3 4B delivers strong overall performance, it can still fall behind larger language models on highly complex reasoning and niche domain knowledge. More detailed deployment guidance, additional optimization resources, and broader production-focused documentation would make it even easier to adopt across different enterprise scenarios. "Unbeatable Inference Speed and Low RAM Footprint for Private Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

The speed and low resource footprint are easily the best part. I can run it locally on standard hardware or edge devices without burning through RAM. For light tasks like quick text categorization, fast auto-complete, or basic entity extraction, it responds almost instantly without needing cloud API calls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

It hits a wall quickly when you throw multi-step logic or complex coding tasks at it. Because of the tiny parameter size, it's prone to hallucinating or ignoring instructions if the context gets too long. You really have to keep prompts straightforward or fine-tune it for specific jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gemma 3 1B: Small, Fast, and Great for Everyday Text Tasks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

What I like most about Gemma 3 1B is that it’s small and fast while still being useful for everyday text tasks. It’s easy to experiment with and doesn’t require a lot of computing resources, so it works well for lightweight applications where I don’t need a large model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

The main thing I dislike about Gemma 3 1B is that its small size comes with some limitations. It can struggle with complex reasoning, detailed instructions, and longer context, and the responses can sometimes be too brief or miss important details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gemma 3 1B: Light, Fast, and Smooth Offline API Integrations with Multilingual Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

The Gemma 3 1B is one of the best models. While using it, it was very light and fast; it understands things and generates responses very quickly. Also, while using it offline, the API integrations were very smooth for cloud. One thing that I liked the most was that it had multiple language support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

There were a few things that I didn't like. As it is a small model, the context does not stay for very long during long chats, and also in complex problems of reasoning, it does not give the best results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Compact Gemma 3 270M Design Enables Efficient, Low-Resource AI Development"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

The best thing about Gemma 3 270M in my view is the compact design. This makes it suitable for efficient implementation. As a developer of machine learning systems, I like small models which allow experimenting and developing AI systems using fewer computational resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

This Small size may affect its performance with regard to complicated reasoning and specialized functions because of its smaller size when compared with the larger language models. It also requires carefully formulated prompts and evaluation of the task to ensure consistent results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Runs Smoothly Locally with Ollama"
4/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

I was using this model locally on my HP Pavilion laptop, and it ran very smoothly. For that, I was using Ollama. I want the AI chatbot which gives me the answers of the day-to-day task and fully offline and for that this model gives very fast answer without any network Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

This model struggles with complex tasks like coding and other complex thinking. It feels like it’s lagging, and it crashes sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive Capability and Efficiency in a Compact Model"
4.5/5
Describe the project or task Gemma 3 4B helped with:

Gemma 3 4B is designed to provide efficient AI solutions for everyday tasks, balancing performance and cost-effectiveness. It excels in tasks like summarization, content drafting, and basic analysis, making it a practical choice for users with limited computing resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

What I like best about Gemma 3 4B is how much capability it delivers for its relatively small size. It offers a strong balance of speed, efficiency, and useful reasoning, making it practical to run locally or on limited hardware while still handling tasks like writing, summarization, coding, and general Q&A well. The value is very good for the cost. It provides fast, useful AI assistance for everyday tasks without requiring the expense or computing resources of a much larger model. For routine writing, summarizing, basic analysis, and quick questions, I feel the performance is well worth what I’m paying. For more complex reasoning or detailed analysis, I may need a stronger model, but overall the price-to-performance ratio is excellent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Deployment, Fast Performance, and Cost-Saving Open-Weight Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemma 3 4B?

Deployment is quite easy, perfect for integrating it with mobile, web, IoT. Extremely quick, rapid processing power and instant response. It handles large documents, prompts which is quite useful. It operates smoothly in the background on standard hardware without overheating the UI/UX. As its open weight access, it eliminates the expensive per token API fees reducing operational expenditure. It has detailed guides which are very supportive while onboarding. It delivers surprisingly strong reasoning, summarization in both the image and text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemma 3 4B?

Sometimes it struggles with complex multi-step logic, advanced match and coding due to its small parameter capacity. From the perspective of onboarding, it requires a little bit of developer knowledge to configure local runtime like Ollama, Mediapipe, and others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
