GameSalad's functionality is limited compared to other game development platforms, and users may find it challenging to create more complex games. "Gamesalad make your own Games"
What do you like best about GameSalad?

Helps students to learn how to make interactive games by exploring the process of game design and create their own games, which can be of any nature just sports, cooking or essential daily living related etc., this is much better than other competitor platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GameSalad?

It creates competition among the students and does not allow them to think beyond low code drag and drop and not write their own code during software training. It is a positive feature from GameSalad angle but not from raw developer side Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GameSalad Experience"
What do you like best about GameSalad?

What i most like is that, instead of using programming languages to design your game, there is a system that gamesalad offers... You can drag and drop elements as you like, adding physics and gravity to your objects, you don´t even need to know how to program a game. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GameSalad?

If i'm planning to do a game in a more "professional way", GameSalad just offer the basics, and i feel very limited to what the tool offers me. Unity or another tool can offer a much a wider range of possibilities when i'm doing a game from scratch, and it's much more customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
