Its main purposes are privacy protection and GDPR compliance. Compared to similar solutions it works as a desktop app, fully on-premise, and does not use cloud computing which would involve sending sensitive data to third-party servers. ## Gallio PRO Reviews ### 1. Within minutes, I was able to blur the faces of hundreds of people across several clips! I had a few questions and the team was quick to respond and provide insight for my specific use case. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** There wasn't much about the product I didn't like. There was just a feature request that I had for the AI to blur a specific logo that I uploaded which isn't possible as of now. However, the team provided me with the option of custom development to make it happen! **What problems is Gallio PRO solving and how is that benefiting you?** We provide videography services for corporate events and conferences. We also work with planners and event suppliers that need marketing content. Sometimes the planners and suppliers are met with objections to bringing their own video/photo team. I thought it could be a good idea to blur the faces of the attendees to help overcome that objection. ### 2. The user interface was easy to use and the installation was hassle-free as well. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** The masked image comes as a square on the face instead of blurring it which didn't have an appealing look. May be the team could improve on the overall user-experience in the upcoming versions **What problems is Gallio PRO solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gallio helps to identify PII data and mask them. I was able to mask license plates and face easily using the desktop version of the tool. Multiple images can be masked at once as well. ### 4. I have tested it with various images and videos with a large close-up of faces, photos taken from a distance, crowded places, faces seen in profile, and turned away from the camera. Light and dark photos - all anonymized very well. The pricing plans are neat - you can buy it for one day only and process all media you have if you do not plan to gather more :) The UI is simple and intuitive, you always know what you should do. A few-step wizard leads you and prompts recommended choices. Of course, you can choose where to save anonymized media, and lets you set a suffix for newly created files. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** It would be great if you could add more files to the queue after the processing started. You could start with a video (which is time-consuming, at least on my PC :D ) and add other media in the meantime. It also would be cool if the overall progress was presented on the bar icon, like during windows-like installation or file copying. **What problems is Gallio PRO solving and how is that benefiting you?** It eases media anonymization. The Company I work in sometimes is unable to post some photos/videos taken in crowded places because manual anonymization of such files is nearly impossible. With this tool, we would be able to utilize much more material. ### 5. It worked well with all kinds of videos - I tested it with both - very slow and action full, and it worked for me in both cases. Pricing plans - buying a license for one day, converting all the media and forgetting till the next month is cool. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** There is no possibility of adding another file during the process; when you want to add another bunch of items, you need to wait until the end. Lack of manual correction of photos - it will be helpful to cause the program to run great, but for visual aesthetics - I would like to make some changes sometimes. **What problems is Gallio PRO solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm using it to anonymize data. ### 6. Gallio handled it very well! Every face was anonymized correctly in each photo. I also like interface and user friendly environment. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** I haven't noticed so far. I also didn't test car license plate feature. **What problems is Gallio PRO solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm working as photographer. When my client needs to have faces anonymized, in few seconds, I can prepare folder of hundreds of photos without recognizable faces. It also helps, when I create my portfolio site and don't have agreements to show people faces in the photos ### 7. It has really good looking and user friendly user interface. It is smoothly working with pictures taken at different angles, with different lightning, etc. and it is also really fast, it can anonymaze tens of pictures within minute. **What do you dislike about Gallio PRO?** I haven't noticed anything so far.
