**What do you like best about Freedom.to?**

Freedom is probably my most important app. It blocks out all the distractions which so easily capture my attention (or that I allow to capture my attention). It thus frees me to focus on what is genuinely most important.

**What do you dislike about Freedom.to?**

It can be a little tricky singling out which websites or apps to allow and disallow.

**What problems is Freedom.to solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest and most essential problem is distraction. Freedom blocks social media and other websites/apps that entice us to waste so much time that could otherwise be dedicated to work, relationships, play, etc.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek A. | Software Developer Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Freedom.to?**

I love almost everything about the app. I really like that they provide support almost all the major browsers and have covered all the edge cases related to network problems in different browsers. Also, I really like that all the major OS/devices are covered.

Also, Freedom.to provides many small-small important productivity features like "Focus Sounds" which are helpful background white noises. There is also "Locked Mode" where once enabled, the user cannot turn-off Freedom.to which is also really helpful for me.

**What do you dislike about Freedom.to?**

I am an Android user and there was a feature missing related to creating different blocklists of Apps. Currently, we can create only one default blocklist in Android.

But still, I really liked the support from the management team of Freedom.to. I wrote to them and they said that they are working and the feature will be available soon.

**Recommendations to others considering Freedom.to:**

Just go for it if you are like and get easily distracked. Go for it if you feel that Youtube, Facebook algorithms are specially targeting you to keep your attention on their platform, keep you engaged on their platform for as long as possible.

**What problems is Freedom.to solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the app on weekdays to concentrate on my job tasks which I get super easily distracted from. I have been blocking social media apps like Facebook and Youtube which has specially been distracting.

I use the application across two devices, a MacBook Pro and an Android Phone, for both Apps and multiple websites.
