I also liked the auto select for which statistical algorithm would be used based on the item's personality. I also like the ability to group like items that share the same seasonal curve. This feature helped with new items. **What do you dislike about Forecast Pro?** The scalability of FP seemed to be slowing down with more sku's added. Bandwidth seemed to be an issue at times on updates. **Recommendations to others considering Forecast Pro:** Ensure that you have item hierarchies set up prior to go live. There's a huge variety of functions that make forecasting simple. The software crunches the numbers, freeing up time to make the critical decisions you need to make. Also, the tech support is amazing. I never have to wait and my issues are resolved right away. **What do you dislike about Forecast Pro?** When we approached Forecast Pro, we told them how many SKUs we had (10,000+) and they said, "No problem!" Unfortunately, I have had to split my products into 5 different files, which makes the S&OP process tedious. You can merge them back together in a "Super Project" but mine is so large that the program crashes and is unusable. Although I really like being able to track different lead times of MAPE, I wish there were a way to see forecast accuracy instead of forecast error. Our executive team doesn't want to see errors. **Recommendations to others considering Forecast Pro:** Make sure you have high processing power on the machines you're using. Forecast Pro requires a bit of RAM. **What problems is Forecast Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are forecasting all of our SKUs with Forecast Pro. We have been able to say goodbye to spreadsheets, which didn't allow us to track history. Now we can input data such as promotions, outliers, etc. We have a record of who made each decision for accountability. Also, seasonal items are so much easier to forecast. We have 90%+ accuracy on these items, but before we couldn't react to that because our spreadsheets were using just averages and not seasonality. So much less stress, not to mention cost savings and increase OTIF. ### 18. Benefits have cut down planning times and keeps business’ running more smoothly.
