How much does FlowFuse cost in 2026?

Who is FlowFuse pricing best suited for?

FlowFuse's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise teams in manufacturing, industrial engineering, and IIoT who manage distributed Node-RED instances at scale. G2 reviewers from mid-market manufacturing and mining firms gravitate toward Team Cloud ($175/month), valuing multi-device deployment and team collaboration. Enterprise reviewers in higher education and mechanical engineering favor self-hosted Enterprise tiers for SSO, dedicated success management, and private cloud deployment. The Starter tier ($25/month) fits small IT or development teams running proof-of-concept or limited-scope Node-RED projects. FlowFuse's pricing structure is less suited for non-technical business users or organizations without existing Node-RED expertise.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of FlowFuse?

FlowFuse offers no permanent free tier, but a free trial is available for evaluation. The entry-level Starter plan ($25/month) covers 2 hosted instances, 2 remote instances, and 2 team members, with blueprints and device auto snapshots. FlowFuse's paid Team Cloud tier ($175/month) scales to 5+ instances, 20 team members, MQTT broker, and a 99.5% SLA. FlowFuse's Enterprise tiers add SSO, DevOps pipelines, certified nodes, device group management, GitHub integration, and a 99.9% SLA. G2 reviewers highlight version control, audit logs, and centralized multi-instance management as the capabilities that most justify moving beyond the Starter tier.

Is FlowFuse considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers consistently rate FlowFuse at 4.5–5.0 stars, with multiple users explicitly stating it is worth the price. A mining industry reviewer noted clear ROI for teams scaling Node-RED across multiple customer sites, and an IT services reviewer highlighted eliminating VPS and security administration overhead as direct cost justification. Manufacturing and industrial engineering reviewers cite version control, centralized device management, and audit logging as high-value differentiators. No reviewers flagged pricing as prohibitive. The consensus across G2 reviews of FlowFuse is that the pricing of FlowFuse delivers strong value for IIoT and Node-RED teams, particularly at Team and Enterprise tiers where collaboration and deployment features compound the return.

"Rapid, reliable fleet dashboards built by our non-dev team"

5/5

What do you like best about FlowFuse?

The Node-RED editor allows for very rapid development, and Flowfuse makes deployment and updates very easy. We can create and deploy a new dashboard page in days rather than weeks. Having built many solutions using various languages and platforms, one thing that stood out to me is the reliability and stability of the Flowfuse/Node-RED ecosystem. That combination of speed and reliability has let us keep pace with our customers' needs without burdening our technical development team. It is definitely worth the price. For any team scaling Node-RED across multiple customer sites or fleets, the ROI is very clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FlowFuse?

We don't really have any major complaints about the core platform. If anything, we don't utilize the built-in AI features or native assistants, as we prefer to use external AI agents outside of Flowfuse to assist with our workflows. However, this doesn't impact our core usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FlowFuse solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been using Node-RED for local projects for several years, and Flowfuse for 3 years now. We use Flowfuse to deliver shift-level dashboards to customers of our Fleet Management System. Instead of pulling core developers onto these tasks, our Customer Success team of non-developers handles this work completely. This allows us to rapidly roll out updates to clients without burdening our development team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
