Very unreliable. Easy to get the UI to break doing pretty basic flows. Server often errors either silently or with cryptic errors, reflecting poorly on our product as it leaves us to take the blame Flatfile's instability. Their status page professes a very high uptime rate, but anecdotally after interacting with their API on a near-daily basis for the last several months, I would take their uptime claims with a grain of salt; what's the use of the server being online if it responds with 500s anyway on what should be a valid network request? Flatfile has supported our growth to date from a small start-up to a scale up company, on one of our key user onboarding flows. Without it, it would not be an understatement to say that we would not have a product. After exploring so many other options on the market, we found flat-file was the easiest to use while providing a depth of tools to our users. their support staff was always available to help work out problems and was always extremely responsive. We have been fortunate to participate in their build program and receive an extension on that program as well. We really like the product, I think the only thing we could ever ask for is a "free tier" for very low utilization and experimentation. I appreciate the ability to configure and control the Flatfile *Portal within our Elixir application.

*The portal is a beautiful interface that our customers use to upload their data in almost any CSV format and easily choose the attributes that will map into our database.

Not much to dislike - Flatfile provides a B2B Data exchange solution, which can be a complex problem or time investment to solve from scratch. Most amazing thing about this software is it is very easy to use and handy for every one. Including many amazing features for easy importing and managing of files and content in the most robust way. The structure of the documentation is quite cumbersive. When trying to save or import larger sized files , takes longer time as normal, which results in slowing down the workflow and processing of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its data import feature is impressive and helps make your workflow easier. IT drag and drop feature is also quite interesting in making your workflow more accessible and intuitive. There is no preprocessing feature of data available in this; if it could have been there, the processing of documents could also take less time. For some dynamic mapping, there are lesser and limited tools available on this platform. Integration with other third-party applications is quite complex and more time-consuming.
