You can enter client data, assets, and information about those assets. Fixed Assets CS automatically calculates the correct depreciation based on the asset's method of depreciation, life, and the date it was placed in service. It would also be nice if you could add on any additional work to an asset, i.e. engine work to a truck, instead or creating an additional entry. **What problems is Fixed Assets CS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Depreciation calculation on a monthly basis. ### 2. Even if you do not have much background in accounting, they make it easy to navigate. It is easy to run projections, reports and to modify assets in the future if something changes. **What do you dislike about Fixed Assets CS?** I wouldn't say I like how often they make you change your password. You still need to know a little about depreciation lives and other accounting knowledge to use this software, so I wish they had some help guide included in the program itself. **Recommendations to others considering Fixed Assets CS:** Buy it! It is way better than our other fixed assets software that we used (Pfx Fixed Assets). Use their customer service as they are accommodating if you run into any issues. **What problems is Fixed Assets CS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to run depreciation reports to see depreciation expenses for a certain period. We also need newer staff to be able to use the program. It is quick and easy to run reports, even for new team members. Time spent on fixed assets has tremendously decreased since implementation. ### 3. Furthermore very helpful help desk and ready to provide any information required. Great interface and colouring for the eye to check and find necessary data. **What do you dislike about Fixed Assets CS?** Too many available functions and hard to remember all of them. Sometimes hard to utilise and leverage all the available functions because of many buttons and options available. Sometimes might be slow to pull out the data. **Recommendations to others considering Fixed Assets CS:** Highly recommended to use. If you have other options such as BBG than out of competition of course, but FX CS provides also quite comprehensive data with relatively lower price. **What problems is Fixed Assets CS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data analytics and financial analytics. It takes some time to figure out how to pull up a simple depreciation schedule the way you want to see it. In addition, changing time periods for reporting is not ideal. **Recommendations to others considering Fixed Assets CS:** If you are experienced in the Creative Solutions line of software products, this software is not that bad. It tends to follow the same experience as other products. It also does its job just fine.
