"Fiverr- The best freelancing platform"
What do you like best about Fiverr?

The best thing about Fiverr is the versatility, features and how user friendly it is. Their were multiple other freelancing platforms on Internet but fiverr was the one I opt for because of their low fee structures as compared to others. The customer support team of fiverr is also very good and they do help their customers whether it be seller or buyer. You can display your gig to any one in any form you like, we get the option for documents, video and photos attachment in which we can show clients how I can help you with it. Other than that their messaging platform is also very good, we can connect ourself with customer and even entertain him with custom offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fiverr?

The thing I dislike about fiverr is that many times you get spam messages and it's like a lot on Fiverr. Although once we report them fiverr so take action on it bug our happiness eventually ends up in frustration when there are scammers in your inbox trying to scam you. "Slave labor"
What do you like best about Fiverr?

The only thing I like about Fiverr is that it's easier to access work than competing platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fiverr?

In my years of experience with Fiverr, I have become entirely convinced that the platform is only geared to support buyers, and not sellers. this review speaks directly to my experience in the last six months during which time Fiverr has supposedly improved the way they treat their freelancers.

Let’s start with the fact that even when you’re a higher level or elected as a pro for example, there’s no personal contact and no way to really get any help. Every ticket you open will always be closed based on some kind of article or ridiculous explanation and nothing that really satisfies the problem you’re having.

There is absolutely no reasonable documentation to explain success factors, and yet you can be stuck at the same success score forever with the status that says it’s still being calculated. And when I say forever, I mean months and months. Or for example, you can be penalized by such a huge percentage when you’ve only made a single mistake that your entire level is at stake, and there’s no one you can talk to to work it out with - there’s no flexibility.

Every freelancer and solopreneur is basically a hostage of this platform because it is one of the only ways to really access a little bit of extra cash. Having said that it really is slave labor in the disguise of knowledge worker support. In order to get any work you need to make sure that your offers and prices are absurdly low, worsened by the fact that we all know Fiverr is taking a huge percentage from what you charge as well as what the buyer pays.

On top of it all the last several months have been horrible in terms of finding enough work, but the way that Fiverr works means that actually the freelancer is simply further penalized for that – as though it’s our fault that people on their platform aren’t looking for services. You can pay tens to hundreds of dollars for PPC and earn absolutely nothing at the end of the day. And no one really cares. It’s a huge money machine.

I also have it from reliable sources. That employees are paid almost as badly. So I guess at the end of the day, “the customer “ really is the only one who counts. I do wonder, however how they’ll keep getting enough customers if they don’t have service providers who happily Offer to support this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
