I love that it captures the grain and color so well that I can easily get that old, vintage-style photograph feel. **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** I find that the choices of editing tool beyond the ones located in the film effects section appears very limited. Selective color correction for more nuanced adjustments present problems where I have to export the image to a different editor. **What problems is FilmPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** FilmPack removes the element of chance in getting the precise look you’re after with your film. I can get a tone I want with FilmPack preset and then make infinitesimal adjustments on it for the best look. ### 2. I like the grain and color settings which are accurate to produce a sought after aged look in seconds rather than in Photoshop. **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** There is no option of creating a batch edit like in the FilmPack software. This is a disadvantage for me because at times I have to retouch as many as several sets at once. **What problems is FilmPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are great tools that are efficient and effective in giving specific film look to the shots such as FilmPack for individual photos. The quality is fantastic and gives me the diverse film stocks I prefer for setting the mood of the photos I make. ### 3. Another useful tool is that there is a great variety of styles you can apply to your photos taking it to another level. The effects which are possible to apply in the software can create incredible photos. The program has really nice tools to balance the light in the picture, making it easy to extract great effect from your pictures, also some other photography tools as balance the contrast, shadows of your pictures. The plugins that are available for connecting it to other editing tools like photoshop, are really good to use, because it makes easier to help us to get better results which we can not get only with film pact, making it an interesting an useful tool. **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** There are many tools that are hard to figure it out being not easily accessible. there are no explanations of webinars to help us to understand how to use new features. Another thing that I dislike in this program is that it is not that user-friendly, making it hard to understand the app in the first time that the users are using it. Another problem with this software is that you need a really good computer to use it, because tome times when you are editing a picture, your computer can get freeze while it is loading the effects you add to the photograph, it can be a bit annoying some times and make your experience worest, taking way more time than you were expecting to edit a simple photo. **Recommendations to others considering FilmPack:** FilmPack is a really good program which has developed a lot my skills and quality of my photographs, I am still a new user at the program, nevertheless is has improved a lot my skills. At the beginning, the program can seem a bit hard to use and not that user friendly, but as you use it, the programs start to get more friendly to use, and you can get better results more easily **What problems is FilmPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** I heard recently about FilmPack through a youtube video, as I am a starter in photography I decided to try this program as it seemed a pretty nice one to use. I started to use it to edit my photographs, to get a better quality and extract different effects with them. Since I started to use FilmPack I am getting pretty good results with my photographs! I am still learning how to use it, but I am developing my skills every day and it is getting way more usable and with better results for me. ### 9. In addition to settings such as color, contrast, sandblasting, we do incredible work with many different filter options. **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** We have not encountered any negative aspects so far. Having open source usage examples makes it easy to use. **What problems is FilmPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Correct the optical defects, distortion, vignetting and chromatic aberrations caused by the machine and obtain perfect images. I sometimes use it to make the images to be used in articles and posters more amazing. ### 10. Also there are vast varieties of styles available that you can apply to your photos which help in taking the photos to a whole new level. Also the effects that are available are very accurate and produce seamless photos. The plugins that are available for connecting it to other editing tools like photoshop. **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** Some feature are not easily accesible and it takes a lot to figure out. No webinar is there for new faetures. Also tool is slightly less user friendly. **Recommendations to others considering FilmPack:** It's great sofware to use for photo retouching and editing. As a caution if you're using mac then there is a small chance that you might face color management issue sometime. it's not very intuitive so it requires efforts during the initial stage of usage. **What problems is FilmPack solving and how is that benefiting you?** i have very recently started photography and i heard of the Filmpack software recently through a youtube video . (The final image) **What do you dislike about FilmPack?** This app is not created with photographers in mind. It just doesnt help you have a complete workflow for editing many shots from 50 - 1000 phtotographs easily. This app is something for amateurs or pro-s that want to have fun. **Recommendations to others considering FilmPack:** Dont expect it as a full time editor. It does a lot of cool procesing, it's super simple, it can give you gorgeus raw edits.
