1. Some of the features like submittals can be unforgiving when using. It took me quite a while to feel comfortable with this feature. I use it all the time now though. | 2. What I like most about Fieldwire by Hilti is that it keeps all project information in one place and makes communication between the field and the office much more efficient. Being able to access plans, track tasks, add photos, and update progress in real time helps reduce errors and saves time that would otherwise be spent on coordination. One drawback of Fieldwire by Hilti is that it can feel a bit limited when handling more complex project tracking or reporting needs. Sometimes the interface can be slightly slow or less intuitive, especially when managing a large number of tasks or sheets.

Additionally, when I exit a plan and return to it, it resets back to the top of the sheet, so I have to scroll all the way back to where I was working. This can be time-consuming, especially on large plans.

We love that everyone who uses it can be anywhere at anytime. Our project managers have the ability to get real time updates on where there project is at all times. While some might not consider it a downside, being 100% paperless is not totally ideal for us. Order confirmations are uploaded but when we check in our actual product it is nice to have the order confirmation printed so we can check off that each item on it is in fact correct and has been received. It is also tedious to jump from the order confirmation and estimate when we bill unlike a printed job file that would contain everything in it for me to look at side by side. I like the adaptability to use my own forms within the software. I do a ton of quality control checks - so the ability to upload simple checkbox PDFs as a template and create form per suite is vital. The task function has also proven its worth ten-fold. When you're trying to keep trades in the know about deficiencies or next steps for work needing to be done, creating a task, pinning it on the drawings and then sending out a report to that trade specifically is very efficient. Support staff who work with Fieldwire have been helpful whenever I have had any questions or issues. Overall the performance of the software has been awesome. I do wish there were capabilities to have outside users or those who don't have a Fieldwire license to be integrated into the projects and be able to view everything associated. I know AutoDesk has their own software.. but buy-in to have Revit model viewers or other integrations for CAD would be awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to learn and implement, my staff in the field become proficient quickly. It is also very quick and easy to upload new revisions to ensure everyone has the most up to date documents. I don't feel like the tasks feature is very user friendly and have not found it very applicable, I have tried using it on various projects and don't find it very helpful. It is also a little difficult/cumbersome to share documents with subcontractors. It would also be helpful to have a submittal/shop drawing feature so shop drawings could be viewed similar to plans. The Plan viewing feature can make it difficult to view detailed drawings. Sometimes if multiple users are on the same form, the data will only be saved by a single user. I like the way Fieldwire by Hilti lets us add and customize forms for safety checks, which we can then access easily on-site through our phones. This feature is really handy for our daily safety checks, like assessing scaffolds. We just need to create the project and preload the form, and with a click of a button, the form is ready to use, complete with a checklist to ensure nothing gets missed. The biggest challenge with Fieldwire by Hilti is dealing with the task management. It's kind of tedious and takes a lot of time. When you're on-site, especially on the roof where it's hot, it's easy to overlook tasks or do something incorrectly. This can lead to reports that don't make sense to folks back in the office. I like that Fieldwire by Hilti allows our whole crew to work on it, and I can easily check the tasks view on the plans to see what still needs to be done. Sometimes the UI can be confusing. Also for me the auto delete photos from my camera roll feature hasn’t been working. With the UI I wish that it was more intuitive. I had to have someone show me where things are for almost anything. A bookmark or favorites button would be awesome too for seeing the plans you are currently using and not having to see the ones that don’t apply to you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When conducting site surveys, having all of the drawings within one app and being able to add photos and measurements to the drawings. Then being able to use the tasks to track the progress of an install is a massive help. The forms feature is also hugely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Taking photos didn't use to be great, but since the latest update this has improved massively. Occasionally there are issues with mark ups that have been made on drawings and images dissapearing between leaving site and getting back to the office. Forms are always labelled as 'Form Name' #1 etc., even after you have deleted a form. The easy way to make punch lists. It's incredible. It's easy to use and intuitive. I have a co-worker that isn't great with computers and they picked up on it. I've emailed a few things - this seems to be confusing and doesn't work the greatest. Never had anything stop working. I do not integrate it with anything, and the pricing is meh. The pricing surprise was difficult. I'd like a user on my team to be able to use the features, but I would like to keep the advanced features. I guess everyone on the team needs to have the full featured item. It's difficult to get vendors or other team members on board with it. I don't like how you cannot undo a markup - basically have to start over (from what I found) when marking up a photo. The email is cumbersome.
