When on your phone or tablet, being able to switch back and forth between things quickly. It's not as fast as being at a desktop. It usually goes that you need a detail from another project or something and have to keep switching back and forth. It’s completely transformed how our technicians mark up plans in the field, how we assign tasks for each project, and how our project managers monitor and track progress across every job. We’d love the ability to create or expand custom symbols tailored to the low-voltage industry and our company’s needs. The current library is useful but limited. While the core functionality is there, the user experience feels a bit clunky at times. For example, the signature process isn’t as smooth or intuitive as it could be, and customizing or filling out daily reports can sometimes feel more time-consuming than necessary. I have been using Fieldwire by Hilti for just over a year to manage the deployment of projects and services. What stands out to me is the short learning curve associated with Fieldwire by Hilti. It's easy to pick up, and I could deploy it shortly after learning a few tricks. Additionally, Fieldwire by Hilti is beneficial in managing the status of projects and deploying project status reports in a timely manner. The thing I enjoy the most about Fieldwire, is the versatility it has to offer. There is so much to keep up with in the construction industry, and Fieldwire is capable of handing it all. This app/website offers great features like mark ups, RFI submissions, photo documentation, files tabs for certain forms you may need to download or upload, and so much more. Everything is cloud based so no matter where you’re at, you can access info 24/7. This makes it great whenever I and in the field updating blueprints with as built markups for conduit layout. Our company gets the most use out of the markup feature. It keeps us up to date on where we are on progression. Another feature that really helps us is the forms tab. We store battery tests, wire testing, etc. under this section. Just click on the template you made, and edit it however you need. All the forms save on your account, so any job you may have can all use the same template if needed. All in all, we wouldn’t survive without this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I want the application version of Fieldwire to have all the same features that the website version has. There is much more you can do on the website, it just requires an internet connection. I use Fieldwire at most of the jobs at my company. I work in Renewable Energy Services, e.g., Solar, Battery Storage, Hydroelectric, Commissioning and Decom jobs. My team and I are able to work on different areas of the site and publish real-time photos & notes. I can set up check lists, different tasks with criteria. It is a great way to keep track of any project, time management and worker accountability. As well as proof of work and before and after pictures with meta data like time and GPS locations.
