It is unable to provide protection, for applications through its poor web application firewall (WAF), and the configuring rules and potential cost increases are difficult. What do you dislike about Fastly Next-Gen WAF?

The user interface of Fastly Next Gen WAF is overwhelming and cumbersome to navigate. Its design lacks working making it time consuming to set up and manage rules. Gen WAF provides Single Sign On (SSO) integration. Having all management tasks, in one place is an advantage for me. But prices are high which is its drawback. It is not good enough for securing our web application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is the availability of documentation and tutorials. This make it difficult for users to fully utilize all the features and capabilities provided by Fastly Next Gen WAF. What do you like best about Fastly Next-Gen WAF?

We use Next GEN WAF and BotProtection services in our Company its fast and reliable service when coming to support the product and I really like this compre to the old F5 WAF/ASM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Intigarion between the internal apps would be more ease and open source. also, intigrating the sso would be more reliable and all managment would be in one place. apart from traditional firewall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fastly Next-Gen WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have huge set of HealthCare data being manged in our data center and we use Fastly to filter the traffic incoming to our webserver. We have used this and saved a lot of code inejections and other http injections into our date center and saved from Vulnerbilites. I have these tagged to solarWinds and helpful to find the support ids and easy fetch to resolve the tagging and blockage part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Fastly Next-Gen WAF?

It provides excellent security to web applications from different types of attack. It provides highly customizable filters that can be configured in no time based on requirement, also it has excellent customer support that will help to define rules/ policy quickly.in my project i have used this to safeguard applications from CORS attacks, SQL injection, DDos etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fastly Next-Gen WAF?

Pricing can be little con for small projects. As sime complex config changes require tech support help, that will incur more charges. As i have insurance project, pricing is no issue for my client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fastly Origin Connect allows us to use the event monitoring feature and have a full view of our traffic during promotions, site launches, etc. It also allows us to quickly find and troubleshoot any errors with traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
