What do you like best about FastField Forms?

It was easy enough for someone that is not a programming expert to build it out for their needs. I love the pictures and notes function for our field team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastField Forms?

It lacked the ability to upload your custom background document and add the fields to that, so it looks like the paper version of a form that field workers are accustomed to seeing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:

Ask lots of questions to the community of users, play around with the tools in it and get a good understanding of how they work before you get too far into building your app. It will save you a lot of time changing things later on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to solve the issue of creating one at a time documents that were very time-intensive. FastField makes it so much easier to get consistency in every trip to the field, and the back office can view it in real-time. Huge win! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to give us your feedback! If you are not already using the Report Builder feature, I would suggest giving it a try. You can upload your current paper form as a PDF and assign fields to it. However, this is only currently available for the final report, and you will not be able to produce this look while filling out the form in the field. "Intuitive Design, Cloud-based, Easy to Use at a Great Price"

What do you like best about FastField Forms?

Slick, minimalist design with an intuitive form build dashboard. Completing and submitting forms can be done from computer, phone or tablet. Attaching photos and naming reports is easy. And not having to manage servers is great for smaller operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastField Forms?

The new BI dashboard is a bit buggy. The trending and correlation functions are not as powerful as others. Often I would just export to Excel. Would also like some built in functions for form building rather than having to write code such as "% True vs false", "Total score" etc for audit forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FastField Forms?

We are finally getting rid of so much paper, so much mess and delays. The data is gathered, confirmed with pictures and video and sent in an orderly fashion to who really needs it almost real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastField Forms?

There is a strong change resistance, people in the area are not easy to convince that the data is secure, that it won't be edited, etc. The learning curve is very fast, but the acceptance by the customers is the hard part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It will be a great improvement but get ready for a lot of resistance to change especially in the construction business. We need to realize that this is the XXI century, technology is here to stay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had issues with lost registries, transcription errors, data that was related to nothing, lots of pictures that were disorganized and ultimately useless. All that is fixed: the data is gathered directly in the form, verified by pictures that are GPS organized and presented in a form that clearly states what they are. The application has several features and functions. It allows you to make a mobile form with several different kind of fields, field relationships and data collection processes. Time-consuming to set up if you want a tailored form that is loaded with the features and functions that you want. Using the Advanced Rules requires analytic thinking and knowledge of the company business processes and data flow. But with Fastfield you can also set up a simple form in no time. For those who love to set up mobile forms with all the bells and whistles, Fastfield is an excellent choice. It has unlimited possibilities. If you have enough time available, with Fastfield you get the result that you want, but accept quite some trialing and testing and reviews of the mobile form settings. What do you like best about FastField Forms?

It is very easy and quick to design a form for capturing information on site. And when you get stuck, the Fastfield help service is excellent and quick to respond. I need to say that I have never come across any functionality I needed that was not possible. Fastfield is really a powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastField Forms?

It was difficult at first to finalise the reporting format especially making up the filename and email headers and body text. The masking name of the filename could have been placed with the reporting section. But once you have done it, it becomes very easy. The Duplicating, Editing and Submitting process could have been better by keeping things together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are managing a very large project with approximately 50 sites. It is impossible to keep everybody up to date on progress but with the Fastfield reports being submitted by the site supervisors on a daily basis, everybody stays informed. What do you like best about FastField Forms?

It is quick and easy to set up forms, and custom design them with rules to make the form idiot-proof for my users. Any issues I came across are very quickly addressed or answered with options or corrections as needed. Fastfields is the Best form creator I have ever used. I love how the forms you create can be as simple or as complex as you need them. I especially like how easy it is to use on a mobile device for my users, how simple to fill the forms out, take pictures and how to have only what you want on the forms when generated. Fastfield Forms are easy to setup how the forms are delivered and set up who you want them sent to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FastField Forms?

The only thing I wish it had, was an option to scan documents directly. Instead, my users need a third-party app to scan documents on the mobile device then upload them into the form. I also wish there was a way to copy some rules, so you don't need to select each set again and again for different variables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

I created a custom material receiving form for ASME Material Receiving that assists the Receiver in documenting all the required dimensions and markings. I am currently working on a Field Service Emergency Repair Form for our service department to allow better documentation of issues and provide direction and notifications of repair work, significantly improving the documentation of repairs.
