The administration interface is easy to use with basic knowledge. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Despite some details with the support team, my queries and questions have always been answered as soon as they are online, so, to be honest, it has never caused a problem. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** The mobile application is really fast and easy to use for people with little experience in the field. Speed and ease of use were key to its success because it had to be 10 times better than the previous paper system that people were used to. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** FastField has been a positive change for our general operations. Their desktop platform and mobile platform don't seem to share progress. You have to set up a "forward cycle" to send from mobile to continue editing on a desktop. We've had problems on our team with information disappearing in that cycle, although that may now be fixed. Many of our users start in the field but need to finish at home, and it would be nice to save a draft of the form without forward cycling that could then be opened on the desktop and completed. Secondly, once monthly we like to distribute outside reports. Because we issue field reports to so many clients on so many projects, this gets arduous. The option to add a file into the report is available, but on the phone it only allows you to select from some folders on your device - does not appear to have compatibility with google drive, which is where we store these items. So, we have to separately distribute these monthly items, where we'd much prefer to integrate them with our FastField reports. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our clients love our detailed reports! It also protects us from potential future legal disputes, as we're able to log all kinds of observations in the field, and then issue them directly to clients without delay. Team members who aren't on site often review the reports for issues they need to address. The autofill options (where we use them) prevent mistakes by the user. ### 8. It supports both IOS and Android. This is imperative as it allows for nearly every mobile user to have access to FastField Forms. Furthermore, this software promotes paperless forms which is a huge benefit to our environment, not only are we saving costs on printing and paper we are able to store forms easily and send them without worrying about postage and storing the forms once received back. The interface is friendly and easy to use, for those who are new to this software there is live training available online! Also the pricing is very reasonable (£20 a month) which as opposed to the amount of paper printing and postage it does take an average company is way more than this! Overall, I personally like the fact that this allows people to do their forms whenever and wherever they are! **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Sometimes responses from the support team do take a while due to the different time zones (we're UK based and the company is US I believe). Although, once the support query is answered it always does tend to resolve the issue. I would suggest an updates page which shows improvements and patch notes to the software. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** Be sure to give the software a try, the benefits for our environment and cost effective for large companies! **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Promoting paperless forms, mobility and ease of access for everyone that needs to fill in applications. I found using and learning the platform easy and could quickly implement the functionality required to minimise fiction during implementation and use in the field. The product is fantastic and is supported by a strong helpful team that had answers to all of my questions. In under 2 weeks from discovery we had guys in the field using the platform - that's really fast. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** I can't think of anything I dislike, anything new we want they team is happy to try and work on with us which is great. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** Understand what you need, set milestones and make use of the amazing support in the early stages. It's a breeze to setup and use. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had some road blocks capturing the required information in the field and communicating it back to the team, this is now being solved. We can bring multiple functions throughout the business into one form and distribute accordingly amongst the stakeholders when required. I see FastField solving many more problems like this, the more processes you can isolate into one platform the better to improve efficiency and "source of truth integrity". Excellent data collection tool and productivity enhancement **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Mike G. | DBA/System Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019 **What do you like best about FastField Forms?** The ability to upload lookup lists via the API is crucial since we use this for incoming produce inspections.The ability to map fields and requirements is also a huge benefit since we have varying thresholds for acceptance based on customer, product and USDA guidelines.The QA inspectors no longer have to carry a 3-ring binder around. The hooks into Zapier is also a plus. Now as soon as a trailer inspection is complete and accepted, a quality inspection is dispatched to QA. No more emails or running around trying to find the QA lead to let them know the load is ready for inspection. Being able to annotate a picture is great for our safety department. They can mark up the picture with the issue and forward the form straight to maintenance for correction. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** There are a few idiosyncrasies due to the difference between iOS and Android and the pickiness of java, but nothing we have not been able to over come with the help of the FastField support (which has been phenomenal) More of a learning curve coming from C# then a ding against FastField. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** Watch all the video tutorials and read the knowledge base. They are a wealth of knowledge and answer 80% of all questions until you get into pushing the boundaries, and then flood support with questions. They are very good. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to reduce our QA workload by 30% and the direct feed into SQL has been a godsend for our Business Intelligence team.The forward and forward cycle abilities have also greatly reduced the number of emails and give us immediate insight as to whether or not corrective action has been taken. It is really intuitive. We've used other solutions in the past that really need an IT person to support, this one doesn't. Support has been good, for the limited amount of help we've needed. It's also really easy to manage users and accounts. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** We're becoming pretty dependent on it as a business solution. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for daily job reports, timesheets, and site surveys. We can copy templates and create ones that are branded to each specific customer. It is really a great solution for us, and the pricing is very fair. We looked at, and even started setting up another solution until we found Fastfield, now we've been using it for about a year and are very happy with the results. ### 16. Many types of inputs are available. Support is quick and helpful. Sending reports to multiple email accounts is possible. Reviewing raw data via excel is helpful **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Lack of a Windows app. Some calculated fields don't work well on Android, such as date calculations. Date calcs, in general, are difficult. Forms can be exported to Excel for editing, but have to be submitted to support for uploading. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Customized construction field reporting. Standardizing reporting across users.
