It allows you to make a mobile form with several different kind of fields, field relationships and data collection processes. For those who love to set up forms with all the bells and whistles, Fastfield is an excellent choise. It has unlimited possibilies. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Time-consuming to set up if you want a tailored form that is loaded with the features and functions that you want. Using the Advanced Rules requires analytic thinking and knowledge of the company business processes and data flow. But with Fastfield you can also set up a simple form in no time. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** For those who love to set up mobile forms with all the bells and whistles, Fastfield is an excellent choise. It has unlimited possibilities. If you have enough time available, with Fastfield you get the result that you want, but accept quite some trialing and testing and reviews of the mobile form settings. And when you get stuck, the Fastfield help service is excellent and quick to respond. I need to say that I have never come across any functionality I needed that was not possible. Fastfield is really a powerful tool. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** It was difficult at first to finalise the reporting format expecially making up the filename and email headers and body text. The masking name of the filename could have been placed with the reporting section. But once you have done it it becomes very easy. The Duplicating, Editing and Submitting process could have been better by keeping things together. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are managing a very large project with approximately 50 sites. It is impossible to keep everybody up to date on progress but with the Fastfield reports being submitted by the site supervisors on a daily basis, everybody stays informed. Health and Safety issues, Site Instructions and Environmental issues are also reported and managed from the Fastfield reports. ### 3. Any issues I came across are very quickly addressed or answered with options or corrections as needed. Fastfields is the Best form creator I have ever used. I love how the forms you create can be as simple or as complex as you need them. I especially like how easy it is to use on a mobile device for my users, how simple to fill the forms out, take pictures and how to have only what you want on the forms when generated. Fastfield Forms are easy to setup how the forms are delivered and set up who you want them sent to. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** The only thing I wish it had, was an option to scan documents directly. Instead, my users need a third-party app to scan documents on the mobile device then upload them into the form. I also wish there was a way to copy some rules, so you don't need to select each set again and again for different variables. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** I created a custom material receiving form for ASME Material Receiving that assists the Receiver in documenting all the required dimensions and markings. I am currently working on a Field Service Emergency Repair Form for our service department to allow better documentation of issues and provide direction and notifications of repair work, significantly improving the documentation of repairs. ### 4. My people take an ipad with cell service out into the field, collect numerous points of data, photos, tests and then submit all that information. I can then log into the FastField portal and see the data in real time. The form builder allows me to create calculations within the form and include those in the report. I'm currently in the process of building a second set of forms for workorder completion. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** If I don't use the form builder very often, I have to relearn it each time I do use it. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using fast field to collect data out in the field. It saves us work, because we are able to use photo capture to back up the information that is being entered. It also allows me to see where my guys are at in real time so that if somethign would happen to one of them, I know where they last submitted from. ### 5. There is a vast range of fields which can be used to create greatly improved forms and processes. Once established, the ability to make live changes to forms, without complex document and version control is highly effective. Fastfield allows the purpose of the form or associated process to be clearly explained, as it is not restricted to keeping everything within an A4 page. Simple to complex dashboards can be created. The system works offline. Information can be extracted and in multiple formats. Record keeping is automated. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** There are no issues I have found which I do not like. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fastfield has been primarily used by our organisation to support behavioural and cultural safety improvements. Through careful consideration of how the forms have been designed, and in consultation with users, we have a greater awareness of the changing shape of risk in our organisation, and where we can intervene. Users have engaged and become process owners, as they can provide suggestions which can be immediately incorporated into a form. The functionality in Fastfield has allowed us to combine numerous paper forms into a single electronic version. Forms include a range of options such as, the ability to record audio, video, and photos with annotation. Supporting documents or references can be embedded into forms i.e. YouTube videos to support field training, or pdf of procedures embedded in relevant forms. Significant cost savings by no longer printing or maintaining paper forms or books. Significant time/cost savings as some forms have eliminated the need to drive/travel, as photos and comments clearly identify what was captured. From a compliance perspective, where a form is designed correctly it will always be filled out with all the required information. The system provides the ability to negate ommission, something which is not guaranteed with paper forms. ### 6. I also like that you can quickly create a dashboard and get instant stats feedback. User interface is quite intuitive and easy to use. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Styling of the app form is preset. You can't change how it looks. Reports can be generated based on date ranges, but it lacks a time based filter which would be useful for reports that are created during overnignt shifts (I had to do a workaround to allow for this). Web based form does not work or look the same as the app based form which can be a bit frustrating when trying to edit form submissions - we have to dispatch them back to the app, edit them there then resubmit. Dashboard reports have minimal sizing controls which results in truncated titles for smaller cards and you can't (at the time of writing) easily generate pdf based reports (though I hear that is coming). **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Converting our paper based forms to app based forms. Our employees have found the transition to a paperless system easy, and we have had an increase in the number of inspections conducted daily since switching to Fast Field **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** The learning curve for setting up forms to be accessed via scanning of QR codes was a bit of a challenge, but I received a lot of support from the professionals at fast field. And that is it; we get the registries by e-mail, clean and without errors because we can check with photographs, no transcribing errors. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Gathering data in a table format is complicated if the places for that are in separated zones. For example, we have to measure specific values in a line, but they are far away (several kilometers), so we either have to keep the format open or do a format for every single point. **Recommendations to others considering FastField Forms:** Avoid all the problems of using paper registries, gather your information faster, receive your data almost in real-time, it's time to modernize the industry. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We eliminated transcribing errors, no more missing information. Since the data is gathered by phone, we no longer use laptops for field crews (except in particular situations). The ability to use different fields to better align with the types of questions / answers needed. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Unable to select more than one form to make a change to at the same time - Example: Obsoleting multiple forms for a product require deleting each form individually instead of selecting more than one and deleting all at the same time. While the scripting capabilities are built on Javascript when you do run into an issue with it they ususally respond within 24 hours and are quick to jump on a Zoom and troubleshoot with you. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Limited custom reporting options. Only one PDF and one Word template can be used per from. We were up and running with a full Damage form within 2 days. **What do you dislike about FastField Forms?** Little harder to configure mail notification and file output saving, but.. very usable. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** We now take pictures of all damaged trailers before receiving an estimate for repairs. This has allowed us to have a 19 picture record of the equipment when we receive the repair estimate. Currently, the whole section has to be repeated. There doesnt seems to be a way to create multiple users via import. **What problems is FastField Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most obvious will be saving papers since FastField Forms helps us to go paperless.
