Recommendations to others considering farmbrite:
I met with resistance from many of my team mates. The mobile platform was not yet available when I subscribed. It is now and many in my group are excited for this. I recommend learning the mobile platform with the desk top first, then doing a soft trial with your team before launch so that they can be comfortable with using the application, making and fixing entry mistakes and get a picture of how this will inform and shape developments within your operation. What problems is farmbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?
Farmbrite offers terrific reporting features, useful for our accounting offices, and communication solutions for the various managers and volunteers who work at our site.
I am able to track our equipment inventory and my most of apiary function through Farmbrite. The quantification and accountability are really helpful at an institutional level.
To this point, we have been using Farmbrite internally. In the coming growing season, I plan to link directly from my company landing page to Farmbrite for views of the calendar, the store, and hopefully some reports to help me continue to build support for our operation at the institution.
