**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

I use Clearstory to track T&M work of my trade partners, and I find the ability to add pictures incredibly valuable. It helps me verify the completion of work without having to go into the field myself. No more lost paper tickets is a huge benefit. Clearstory gives me, as a project manager, immediate visibility without waiting for my superintendent to bring the tickets back. I also appreciate the email feature that sends signature reminders to my supers. Another feature I like is the ability to filter the log as I need, which works well for me. The setup was very easy, and I find the platform perfect for my needs.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

I enjoy the intuitiveness and ease of navigating Clearstory. The wealth of tutorials is great for helping my subcontractors and coworkers. The most important part is the people. Clearstory has an excellent customer service-oriented culture. I can quickly find tutorials and instructions for my subcontractors and coworkers. When I can't find a solution, reaching out to the support team is effective. The bot works well, and the team always checks in to ensure the response was needed or to provide additional assistance and clarifications. I'm never nervous about finding solutions. The initial setup was so easy, it only took one training session to grasp the main concepts. I'm thankful for the team, and they have a clean program they're working with. I am a fan of Clearstory.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

Clearstory reports weren't all available. I needed assistance with updating a sortable report that the analyst built out for us, but the final request to add a column with project names wasn't possible. It set us back on an audit, which ease of gathering and sorting information was one of the reasons we began to work with Clearstory. Overall, it didn't cost us so much that we lost big money, but it would've omitted about hours of man hours to have the ability to sort in that way. I'd like to see that all Project Level reporting is always available and that it would be easier to create custom reports.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Clearstory for real-time T&M cost tracking and communication with subcontractors. It replaced our manual paper tracking, offering intuitive navigation and great tutorials. Clearstory's customer support is excellent, ensuring I'm never stuck without solutions.

I appreciate how Clearstory keeps everything in order and how everything's done digitally now, which makes my work so much easier. I love that it's easy to use and wasn't hard to learn, especially useful within the construction field. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, everything seems pretty good.

I don’t anything to say. It’s a great app.

Clearstory keeps everything in order, digitizing paperwork, which makes everything easier. I use it for making tickets, tracking hours, and materials. It's easy to use and wasn't hard to learn, especially useful in the construction field.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

It removes the aspect of a paper trail that can sometimes go missing if not handled correctly. In previous jobs paper tags would result in omitted photos and partial story telling of what is happening. With the digital version of tag taking, this allows us to now complete the story with clear backup as needed.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

I do get frequent emails that do not apply to myself or my team when tags come through. I do wish there was more of a way to update the email preferences that subs can select so that the emails dont get sent out en-masse and are more directed to who they need to go.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clearstory is solving the problem of having an incomplete "story" of what is happening on the jobsite. The ability to attach photos, narratives, work hours is very beneficial to the office team as they sort out additional time and material tags (T&M) tags with multiple trades. The platform is one place where everyone in the office can see the progress of the tags and the volume of the tags to see trends and get ahead of issues that are consistently appearing in the field.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

Being able to have a central location for contractors and CMs to submit, review, and openly track change orders is great. It allows full tracking of change orders and doesn't rely on emails being sent and received and trusting the person on the other end is taking the necessary steps to track the changes. It allows all parties to see status, leave comments, and work to get change orders issued. 

Now that there is a feature to track allowances this has become a one stop shop for all things change order related.

A lot of my complaints early on have been addressed through one form or another.

Tracking of change orders. We no longer have to rely on keeping tracking of change orders through email to get the results needed.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

Ability to track work in real time (as soon as tags created).  Photos, comments, hours, material & equipment used are all available at a glance.  Tags are converted to change orders and sent to customers for easy approval & billing.  Support is available anytime I need it.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

Have not had any issues except for the time it takes to combine tags when there are too many photos.

In the past we has issues receiving paper tags in a timely manner.  This resulted in lost revenue and/or wasted time searching for documents.  There was no way to recover documents once lost.  There were no photos to back up the paper tags.  Clearstory has solved these problems.

The program is easy to use, reduces the need for multiple entries, customer service has been top notch and responses are usually received within 2 hours.
I like that the system is not bogged down with multiple tools for other construction related items.

I haven't found anything yet. If I have an issue, it is quickly resolved. Any feedback that I have had, is heard and sent on to the development team.

The software is very convenient and easy to use. The tracking is great, and the ability to update the change orders is easy.

The only issue I have found. A correction a change order, i.e. spelling, labor rates, adding to the description, etc... can not be done unless you create a completely new "version". This is very frustrating for just fixing vernacular and/or small spelling mistakes.

Clearstory has provided a clear and consistent product to provide to our customers. Clearstory also completely keeps and organizes all change orders, change order logs and analytics over multiple projects on one easy platform that can be sorted and filtered in a number of convenient ways.

Very convenient and simple way to track time and materials as a subcontractor. Just very pleased with the cross platform accessibility with procore and the various ways to collect signatures, upload photos, etc.

I haven't had any issues at yet. Nothing negative to report at this time.

The old way of compiling documentation, pictures, and prints on paper and getting them signed and uploaded..... The old way was so time consuming that a lot of extra work was eaten by our company because of the tedious manner in which we used to track it. We can easily track work by fractions of a day, even fractions of an hour if we so desire.

Clearstory helps keep track of all change orders. Helps you organize and speed up the change order process. Projects will always have change orders, but they don't have to be a headache for you. Clearstory is easy to navigate and it makes the change order process just flow. The app is really user friendly and the customer support has been on point.

Nothing really. Some features could be improved, but so far the process has been easy.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

The biggest benefit of using Clearstory is the fact that all trade partners upload their project change order requests in one, organized spot. In the past, trades would send over PDF or excel change order logs, and sometimes it would get sent to the wrong individuals, or get lost as personnel managing a project transitioned. Clearstory solves that hassles and everything for a trade's cost lives in one spot. It is very intuitive and easy to use, and anyone from a project engineer to a project executive can go in the program and get a quick snapshot of the subcontractor's cost exposure on a project. Clearstory integrates with Procore, which is perfect given many large GC's utilize Procore as the leading project management software. 

I highly recommend Clearstory on a large commercial construction project to help streamline and organize subcontractor cost management.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

The search function of existing change events in Clearstory does not let you search by change event number, it only lets you search by key words. This should get fixed. 

The general contractor should have the ability to change the "in review" dollar amount on a change order request.

The T&M module was somewhat difficult to use. Our project did not utilize it to its full extent.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Subcontract change order request organization. All COR's are in one place.
2) Integration to Procore. Streamlines the process of getting the costs into Procore where project financials and CO creation takes place.
3) Comments/ history for COR's are tracked in one place for each cost. Many different users can see these comments, the history. 
4) You can label costs to differentiate between internal and externally funded CO's. 
5) Clearstory solves lots of problems! It is a great software.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

What I personally like best about clearstory is the ability to keep COR's and T&M organized for each of my projects while also having them reference each other seamlessly. This makes tracking so much easier as a PM. Also, empowering our field workers to create tags in the field while having the ability to edit tags from the office is next level. 

Clearstory is so organized that we have vendors and contractors asking US (Subcontractor) for logs to help them reconcile their end of things. Always a good thing to have the peace of mind and confidence that your project is sealed tight from a monetary perspective.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

Clearstory has come a long way; we have been with them almost from the start, certainly, while they were still Extracker. Many improvements have been and continually are being made. The latest COR window improvements were a huge plus from the office side of things. The one thing I would love is the ability to see labor and materials summations on COR log. This would give us an extra level of ganrualrtiy we could benefit as a company.

COR and T&M tracking. With this, overall project costs. While yes, you can do this with a spreadsheet, Clearstory makes it incredibly easier and in a clean and professional fashion. It truly is best COR and T&M tracking software on the planet.

I like that clearstory keeps CO's T&M's in one spot. It makes organization great even when on multiple projects. I also like if a GC has clearstory we can just jump into their projects. If they don't, we are able to create a project and delivery T&M's digitally and seamlessly. Customer support is TOP NOTCH.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

The downside of Clearstory is that GC's still want paper copies rather then digitally.

Getting T&M's from the field to the GC. Clearstory allows the Foreman to fill it out and have the GC sign it right there in the field.

Home window sometimes can be confusing if you don't know what you're doing.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

I love that clearstory keeps logs of all pricing & T&M slips. Make sit very easy to use. I like that you can filter thru the T&M logs and see what slips are still waiting to be signed. I usually filter the log to show awaiting signature then export the log tot he general contractor once a week. This has helped slips get signed faster which in turn we price faster and get paid faster which is always great.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

The one issue i have with clearstory is that the T&M numbering system does not number by job. Only by comapny. For example one job #1 i might have slips 121,122,123,140... If the slips were numbered or could be numbered by job then i would know hey i need to find slips 124-139.

Clearstory is helpful because all change notifications, T&M slips, and CORs are in one place. It is helpful to see the revision history of CORs/all the communication leading up to an approved COR. Using Clearstory saves time because you don't need to scroll through or search your inbox.

At the outset it is difficult to convince subcontractors that they should be using Clearstory, especially for T&M slips which most foreman prefer to do by hand/on paper.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

The program makes it easier to track T&M work in the field in real time. The reporting is super user friendly and can be used for just T&M or all change orders that go to a project. The program is easy to use and even easier to learn and the team is the BEST! They are always looking to improve our experience, available to hop on a call at any given moment or help us through online chat. The customers have been very responsive and it has cut down a lot of time for all parties, documenting tickets, getting them signed and getting them turned into change orders.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

Can't really think of anything that I don't like at this point. :)

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prep is one of the biggest areas where your budget can take a hit quickly. Clearstory cuts out the time dealing with paper tickets. From getting them filled out, signed, turned in, priced, then entered for change order. It allows the installer and the GC the ability to create the tickets real time and sign them real time. Tickets can be completed and signed from anywhere, and it costs nothing for the installers or the GC to download the ap. The real time functionality also holds people accountable. By being completed at the time the work is completed, the GC can not state they tickets were never received, which is where the greatest loss is.  The tickets are tracked and we are able to see when a ticket has been viewed and signed or gives us the ability to re-send them to our contacts if they hang out there for too long.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

The T&M process to change order saves time it's all-digital, better documentation, more detailed CO and T&M's , pictures, no paper stacks or mess of chasing contractors down for a signature. Only need simple details which you should have for any job Time and Material log. any signatures unsigned or drafted can always resend the signature requests or look back to what you had drafted if it's on hold. Much less hassle in the field

I haven't found anything to dislike about Clearstory, only thing would be my laptop is more efficient to use it on, phone can be time consuming process except when adding photos the phone is much easier to use.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

ClearStory has been most helpful in eliminating the time-suck that managing paper time tickets had become. No more blurry, upside-down, texted photos of tickets from technicians or piles of papers dropped off on my desk month after the work had been performed. This gives our technicians a quick and simple method to create a ticket and have it signed in real time. As a project manager, it also gives me a clear snapshot of everything I have open or complete in one easily accessed location. The customer support has also been terrific. Any time I have had an issue or question, the ClearStory team has responded quickly and with a solution.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

We have a large team of technicians that must be entered manually for each project. A path to upload that list of email addresses/names in one shot rather than piecemeal would be helpful.

ClearStory has eliminated the tedious and time-consuming process of creating, collecting, and organizing paper T&M tickets into presentable change order requests for customers.

It bridges the gap between Procore and Excel.  There is no need to carry two logs anymore.

It's missing some functions that would make life easier.  It's only a one-way push.

SCO tracking.  We don't waste time hunting down a current log anymore.

I love the transparency Clearstory provides between the GC and subcontractors. Clearstory also makes keeping track of change orders and T&M logs extremely easy.

There are occasional bugs with applying markups where the markups dont save. However, this does not stop me or deter me away from using Clearstory.

My favorite feature is that all of my rates and pricing are loaded into the program, and it makes pricing of change orders and sometimes even proposals very efficient and accurate.

Ability to manipulate change orders.  Some GC's have their own change order cover sheets, it would be great to be able to have those input into the software with their formulas.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

I find that this platform gives our foremen an easy and accesable way to input time and materials added or needed by the general contractors we work with.  It doesn't take any time to fill out, and the ability to send to your GC field coordinator for approval is a step streamlined by the program. The customer support has also been very easy to communicate with.  The ease of implementation makes it compatible with all of our on-field devices, making the frequency we use this program very often. Easiest integration we've had so far.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

There is very little I do not like. I wish there was a way to save a change order request to a job without sending it to a signee. Sometimes I want to hold onto those before submitting, but do not want to hold it as a Draft.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clearstory reduces the amount of steps needed on the project management side by reducing the amount of time needed for communicating between field and managment.

I have been in the construction industry for 30 years, most of that time we have been using paper T&M tickets which tend to get lost or damaged (coffee stains) Clearstory has done away with all of those issues. I would strongly recomend it to all of my colleagues, game changer.

TD i have not experianced any downside using Clearstory.

**What do you like best about Clearstory?**

Clearstory is without a doubt the best construction related software I have ever used. It does a few things and it does them extremely well. If you need to be able to quickly track T+M without paper, or if you need to present pricing updates of any size to your customer, you need clearstory. I use it every day, I get customers onboard with a simple click, and if they dont want another platform, they can make use of the Direct PDF download hotlinks. This software is easily approacable by everyone from lead carpenters/foreman working on small side projects all the way up to exectutives balancing thousands of work hours each day.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

On the rare instance where the sofware doesnt have the feaure I want, I just message customer service right in the app and they get it fixed, or advise me on alternate workflows. The mobile app capability is not quite as robust as the web app, but it is regularly updated to include more features.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clearstory lets me stay orgaized automatically. and it lends clarity and professionalism to our operation.

For instance, I can send clear broken out pricing on a T+M slip without every getting out a calculator, PDF editor, Spreadsheet or financial software, simply select the appropriate ticket and the fields are auto tabulated based on pre-existing rules set up by us and the clearstory team. this gives me more time to work on tasks that cannot be automated, like custom estimating, hands on work, or relationship management.

I can add photos or PDFs to a T+M slip or a COR from my iPad without changing devices. this lets me get work done right away and not have to save it for my office day.

Clearstory can help you organize and maintain all of your change order requests from multiple subs.  With a few quick filtering options, you can generate your reports in just a few steps.  No more spending time assembling your reports OR making sure the information contained is accurate.  What I LOVE so much about Clearstory is that all our subs upload their pricing changes, answer a couple of questions and click submit.  Everything we need to assemble a pricing change for the owner can be found in one place - no more sifting through countless email messages.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

So far, I haven't come across anything that I didn't like or dislike.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be honest, I pushed to use Clearstory on my project because being in this industry for many years I've gone through so many different ways of trying to just "manage" these types of unforeseen costs or changes in plans.  And trust me, that was a complete mess.  Once I sat through their quick demo, the bells and whistles started going off and I realized, this is it.  This is the program we need to be able manage all our costs.  So I implemented this on one of my projects and as I suspected, we were able to manage and maintain our budget.  Clearstory helped us to keep accurate files.  Now, we are a year into using Cleastory and managing this project wouldn't have been as successful if we didn't use Clearstory.  Closing out subs with final change orders are so much more easier and makes closeouts a breeze.

The most helpful part about Clearstory is the ability to generate paperless change orders and the ability to export all the information to a PDF docuement or excel spreadsheet. I also like the fact the all the in review change order totals are presented in a pie chart that also shows a quick breakdown of the information.

The only problem I have had was sometimes I have had a change order request that was to large and the program lags do to the overwhelming amount of information being input.

It's an incredibly intuitive program that is easy for both the field and office personnel to use.  Additionally, the ability to add photos and other documentation to work tickets helps both sides understand why the change event happened.  

I was shocked by how quickly the program was implemented into our work flow.  We find ourselves using the program multiple times to update the project team and accounting about pending change orders.

**What do you dislike about Clearstory?**

There are few things to really dislike about Clearstory.  We have run into some issues with connectivity and auto population of labels when creating a T&M tag.  Many of our projects are in remote areas with spotty cell signal coverage.

**What problems is Clearstory solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The change management process and helping us close both the timeline and argument associated with change events.
