ThankView really couldn't be easier to use. We got it to replace an in-person event that we couldn't do in 2020 during the pandemic. Product support was beneficial while I learned my way around, and now I'm the guy training people across campus to use the platform for all kinds of use cases. These are pretty nit-picky complaints, but it would be nice to select videos from the library in bulk to mass archive. Similarly, the same feature to delete contacts would be great. For the latter issue, I'm able to send spreadsheets of email addresses to support and they have deleted them for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For years, gift officers have been sending videos over email. Sending and opening a video file over email is fraught with issues, from file size to the recipient's comfort level with technology.

ThankView eliminates nearly all of these barriers with an aesthetically pleasing interface and simple usability for the creator and recipient.

I do not worry about whether the video and message will work. It just does.

And that's to say nothing about how easy it is to record and send customized videos. As a new gift officer during the pandemic, it was crucial to develop relationships with people I did not have the chance to meet face to face. There is a learning curve, like with all new platforms. The video library can be a bit overwhelming and requires some organizing on the user's part. Each unique video needs to be filed away. It would be helpful to have a Library folder automatically created where every video created within a Campaign is housed, rather than having to go back and sort them yourself. There are a couple of features that are not fully functional, which can feel like I'm not getting the full value of the tool. This includes the auto-captioning feature and the gif-thumbnail feature (I don't like that you can only use the first few seconds of the video) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to send short videos soliciting funds or saying thank you. It is a great way to personalize messages for donors. I have used it to send videos to our mailing list or personal videos to new donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of use and the customer service. We are new to ThankView but in under 6 months, we have sent out at least 75,000 ThankView emails. We have sent anything from automated birthday messages to holiday greetings, email solicitations, and general outreach. It's the first place we turn to when connecting with parents and alumni. I wish there was a way to create folders to better sort the campaigns. We have so many that I think a filing system would be beneficial, because it would prevent scrolling through a bunch of campaigns to get to the one I'm looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ThankView is simple to use - the website walks you through the steps to creating a successful video landing page and makes it difficult to mess up. I love the ability to create custom landing pages with different imagery depending on the focus of the video. I also appreciate how easy it is to use a single video to send personalized communication to many people. Even if we don't say an individual's name in the video itself, the ability to include their name in the email and on the landing page makes it feel truly personalized. I find the system very intuitive on the whole. I did experience a small learning curve in understanding where within the system I can create branded landing pages and envelopes outside of creating them within a campaign, but that was easy to overcome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ThankView has been amazing for donor engagement. I've been using it for years now, and I have to say it really does provide a special opportunity to thank donors and share messages from multiple colleagues.
