Even Margin Reviews & Product Details

Even Margin is bookkeeping software for US small businesses. Connect your bank through Plaid and Even Margin names the merchant behind each transaction, picks its business category, and shows how confident it is in each call, with the reason. Anything that deserves a second look goes to a short review list, with the most important items first. Every change is written in plain English, so you can see at a glance who changed what: you, a team member you invited, your accountant, or Even Margin. You get profit and loss and cash flow statements, category trends, and a cash runway figure, with your books checked against your bank and duplicates spotted before they reach a report. Split a transaction across categories, write rules that run in the order you choose and apply them to past transactions too, and export everything whenever you like. Your chart of accounts is ready the moment you sign up, so you can start right away, and you can invite your accountant as a Bookkeeper. Your bank login stays with your bank, and Even Margin has read-only access to your accounts, so your money stays exactly where it is.
