This makes you waste a lot of time because it manipulates the work hours in each project. *This program needs to allow us to upload plans so that it is complete with everything we need. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** they have not been able to resolve the problems I have had with the application. There are projects that I cannot edit and other projects where I cannot delete the reports that are duplicated, and this is indeed frustrating. ### 2. Having subcontractor software geared for our tasks has improved our industry. One platform for daily reports, field notes, RFI's, Submittals, PO's, CO's & reports for tracking productivity is why we have been impressed with this software. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** Trying to utilize all options in the field is sometimes a trying task with the older generation. The area is where all the information is generated and is critical to receiving the correct data. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organized Project Documentation is what ESUB has solved for our team and has continued to expand with more features which have increased our ability to track productivity and keep a project organized. ### 3. For example, being able to download something into an excel spreadsheet. This helps a lot with meeting and being able to portray important information effectively with the ability to customize even. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** I sometimes think about how it is a pain to click through too many sections or areas. For example, getting to company configuration is sometimes more work. If there was one central point for customization that you could apply to all employees even at once. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to track costs and POs. I mainly use eSUB for building out submittal packages. That particular feature makes my job a lot easier. I like how each product has its own line that allows for easier tracking. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** eSUB provides everything our company is looking for in terms of acting as a tool for project organization. That being said, I have two minor issues. First, I find the interface to be unappealing. I think the website and app could use a redesign. Secondly, I feel there are too many clicks to get through each submittal line. I feel as if I should be able to easily type all of the items on one page and drag and drop PDF attachments. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** eSUB is solving project recordkeeping for our company. On eSUB, our project managers are able to write daily reports, upload site pictures, etc. It truly helps us keep our projects organized as best as possible. ### 5. There are multiple tabs where i can visit different areas of the project to keep track of progress and how the daily activities are going. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** It is another site that i use ontop of multiple other sites. On esub, you are not able to upload drawings for projects and this can be very helpful for guys in the field. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem esub is solving is the issue of not knowing what went on during the day at the job site. Esub allows our foreman to input their daily activities into the system so i can keep track of where we are at. ### 6. ESUB was developed by a trade contractor and an attorney (married & probably talked enough to come up with this) These are prefilled documents to, ahem, dave your ass if you are a specialty trade contractor and know the glamor of GC contract reading. Delays, disruptions, + many more. Attach a photo to the field doc (from daily field note photos- our company requires 3 a day) and well, your are now dunking on a GC my friends. I've had consultants tell me the value, and it's all in the magical little toolbox. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** Upload times can be tough. Still not sure about 2.0? **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** We run everything in our company through eSUB besides payroll. Problem 1. Connecting the field to the office Set up every single person that works for your company that's in the field with eSUB on thier personal smart phone. Do not bitch at them if you see them on thier phones. They are working and adding value and documentation to your company. -Field Notes: We put eSUB photos 3x a day in everyone's job description that is a tile installer or apprentice. Everyone that works in the field. Everyone documents or they are not a good fit for your company. -Payroll Hours + Daily Reports: Set up your teams pay rates and they do all the work for you. Even has units to track production. Wanna go on a business trip or vacation for once and not worry about your business? All of the above can be checked from your smartphone or tablet. Everything's real time & cloud based. ### 7. You can do some items on one but not on the other. When creating submittals/RFIs there should be a better template option to have everything already set so you do not have to do it again every time you create a new document. When creating a revision for submittals, the line items should stay so you do not have to reenter them when creating a revision. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** Document control for submittals and RFIs. I don't think I could go back to our old system at this point. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** eSUB for the most part does what we need, though I do wish there were a few more HR type features built into the time tracking module such as better reporting for biweekly or monthly payroll periods rather than only being able to see weekly reports. Also sometimes the website seems slow and it takes longer than you would think for the page to load or refresh. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** eSUB has helped us track our labour costs and has been critical for identifying jobs that are starting to go off the rails. Not to mention the ability to import time data into QuickBooks saves hours of data entry each payroll cycle. ### 9. Since we have a lot of different projects going on with different contractors at the same time it's easy to keep organized and stay on top of everything for each project. ### 10. It's very helpful to track change orders, PO's, etc. We also use the field notes and daily reports regularly. The field notes especially have helped us many times. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** My biggest dislike is that it's just slow. To get to anything it takes a while to load. I am not familiar with any other construction software besides pro core. **What do you dislike about eSUB?** Not being able to pinch or zoom closer on a UHD photo. The other is the invalid subscriber glitch when tring to log in on the mobile app. I've learded my way around it, but it still does happen from time to time. **What problems is eSUB solving and how is that benefiting you?** CCorrespondence with suppliersor vendors on materials. Being able to batch edit whit the material and transportation increasements every quarter it definitely helps. ### 18.
