Said they emailed me a single reminder and then sold it. Absolute dangerous organization, I wouldn't trust them at all; too risky for a business, thank God it was a personal domain but even so. Painful! **What problems is Epik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing, I transferred because GoDaddy started censoring domains and content, not having that so I switched, no I don't have my domain anymore, they stole it. ### 2. They nagged me for two months, I renewed and then they charged me. When I sent a memo to support they asked for my pin. I logged in to my account and see that my domain will expire next week. They're totally incompetent and arrogant. **What problems is Epik solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. They provide a .bible domain. That's all. ### 4. I am also using it for email hosting and managing multiple emails and subdomains within our larger company domain. Domain transfer also works easily compared to other agencies. The content delivery network makes website loading fast. **What do you dislike about Epik?** Country-level domains are hard to buy, lack plugins for different CMSs, Needs more security functions and data hosting capabilities. Customer support is not available globally and needs better SLAs. **Recommendations to others considering Epik:** This is a good DNS management system that supports your small business and mid-market firm goals. It may not be suitable for a global organizations where multiple accounts need to be managed and support on a global scale is needed. Their web services are stable and provides sources to be successful implementation and domain migraton. **What problems is Epik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing domains, domain transfer, SSL certification, Virtual private server management, and content delivery network for solving latency issues. Managing multiple instances, domain servers and configurations work simple. ### 9. Then I spent hours trying to figure out how to configure it. I guess their interface is modern in comparison to some other regirstrars. But even then when I tried to set DNS records I got no feedback to weather it had succeeded or failed. The help sections explaning how to accoomplish this did not have any section covering cases like this. **What do you dislike about Epik?** Sold me a non-ICANN approved TDL domain. Couldnt do anything with it except redirect, their interface wont let me set any records. And when I try to transfer it out I get an error. Waste of my money, buying a domain that doenst exist. I was terribly dissapointed because it was a one letter domain! Too good to be true I guess. It seems they have poor management or oversight on what TLDs they can sell and maintain. I dont see how this can possibly happen. **Recommendations to others considering Epik:** Be careful if you havent seen the TLD before, check if it is valid and they are accredited to sell it. **What problems is Epik solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was meant for a personal blog, but because it's not recongnized by ICANN I couldnt use it. No benefits whatsoever, a waste of time and money, and disapointment. To be fair I didnt pay much for it as it was on sale. ### 10. The upsides of using web domain registration is that companies during smart lockdown uses online communications using Emails registered with a or any web domain for business or official orders or maintenance work etc. using email exchange server registered under a web domain without the need to be in contact with any personnel obeying safety first check. And not to forget online orders using company e-commerce portal online to take orders and deliver them to the customers without personally in contact with the customer at a customer specified place with customer approval for receival confirmation. **What do you dislike about Epik?** It can used to make a profile page that the least it is helpful in show casing persons profile to the employer. It is problematic if the web domain registration service is out for during maintenance or upgrades and or due to our own and or company debit cards not working for renewing registration. So, my suggestion is to include all types of banks like microfinance banks like in Pakistan Easypaisa, JazzCash, Paymax / Askari Wallet, Upaisa and include may be immediately to enter NIC # of person incharge and it shows all the banks the persons accounts are in world wide or internationally and locally and the person selects the proper payment bank after using the most advance login mechanism system like face, voice, password, keys from banks and not to forget palm or thumb recognition all together and doing the payment. Making this or use facebook like platform for logging in and doing payment. The person can enter or import and or enter all the accounts it holds world wide centrally and can access information centrally even if the banks systems are in a distributed network. etc. **Recommendations to others considering Epik:** Having easier Payment methods both locally and internationally for positive business. **What problems is Epik solving and how is that benefiting you?** If payment channels are shut during lockdown so it becomes expensive to buy prepaid cards and then pay for it internationally. Benefits are we don't have to work hard while using manual things which are on a desktop pc based and or in a ethernet lan using IIS (Internet Information Server) for ASP .Net pages and or Apache Server for PHP in a unregistered and or system which is just in a facility and can not be accessed if you have big company and leased lines can be used for if the system is in MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), but it might be expensive using previous technologies. Domain based systems can be accessed worldwide without the need of keeping distributed systems with just having a good internet connection and savings are immense as maintenance cost is lower than keeping a distributed system ### 11.
