"An Essential Tool for Real-Time Architectural Visualization"
5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

What I like most about Enscape is its seamless integration with SketchUp and its ability to bring architectural designs to life in real time. It allows me to quickly visualize spaces, experiment with materials and lighting, and create realistic presentations for clients. The intuitive workflow saves a tremendous amount of time and makes it easier to communicate design ideas, explore different options, and make better decisions throughout the design process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

One area where Enscape could improve is the level of photorealism, particularly when it comes to materials, vegetation, lighting, and reflections. While the real-time rendering is excellent, some scenes can still have a slightly artificial or video-game-like appearance compared to more advanced rendering engines. I would also love to see more realistic material textures, improved global illumination, and greater control over detailed rendering settings. Achieving truly photorealistic results without additional post-processing would make Enscape even more powerful for architectural visualization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Valuable Tool for Residential Interior Design and Real-Time Visualization"
4/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

As a professional specializing in 3D visualization for interior designers, I appreciate how Enscape allows me to bring designs to life in real time. Being able to quickly explore materials, lighting, and different perspectives without waiting for lengthy rendering processes makes a huge difference in my workflow.

I especially love the ability to visualize spaces as the design develops rather than waiting until everything is finalized. It's a great tool for communicating design intent and helping clients better understand their spaces before construction begins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

While Enscape produces beautiful results, achieving a truly photorealistic image can still require additional adjustments to lighting, materials, and overall presentation. Performance can also become demanding with larger, more detailed models, particularly those containing high-poly custom furniture and accessories.

I'd love to see continued improvements in material realism, lighting controls, and optimization for complex interior scenes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time SketchUp Rendering That Makes Design and Client Walkthroughs Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

The live link with SketchUp: the render updates in real time as I model, so I can check materials, light and proportions during design, not just at the end. It’s also quick to learn and makes client presentations easy with walkthroughs and panoramas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

Needs a strong GPU; pricey subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Out-of-the-Box Great Results That Elevate Client Presentations"
5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

Most of us can get good results out of the box, and great results with some effort. Now that it has the Veras AI option, our work looks so good. It seamlessly works with Vectorworks, makes my life as a solo architect easier, and gives me credibility with my clients. The annual price is worth it when I see my client's eyes light up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

Sometimes there is lag, even with a powerful computer. It's also possible to reach a plateau where it's hard for me to know what else to do to improve the image. Customer service can be hard as there is no one to call, and we must wait for emails to come with responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Revit Visualization, With GPU and Lighting Tradeoffs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

I appreciate how Enscape syncs live with Revit, so I can see model changes immediately without exporting files or waiting for offline renders. I can use that instant feedback to check spaces and catch coordination issues, and I can make changes with clients during review meetings instead of dragging decisions out through markup cycles. The learning curve is near zero, so junior staff and project architects can create presentation-ready views and check spatial clearances without specialized visualization training. I also like being able to share browser links and 360-degree panorama QR codes so clients and contractors can explore the design on their phones or tablets without a Revit license or specialized software. Enscape fits directly into our Revit workflow, avoiding the friction of a separate program and letting us test iterations right in the active viewport. Setup was virtually seamless: it detected our Revit versions, added a tab to the Revit ribbon, and took less than fifteen minutes to get to our first live render. License activation was straightforward, and we didn’t need IT intervention or downtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

Enscape’s performance drops noticeably on heavy, multi-discipline Revit models with complex geometry or linked MEP and structural files. High VRAM use can cause lag or crashes unless I have a high-tier dedicated GPU. Interior lighting can also take tedious tweaking to keep scenes from looking washed out or flat, and it still falls short of dedicated offline ray-tracers for realistic lighting. The browser-based cloud standalones compress visual quality compared with the local viewer, and managing floating licenses across a hybrid team has felt clunky since the subscription price increases. "Impressive Real-Time Rendering and VR, but Demanding on Hardware"
4/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

I like Enscape’s real-time, high-quality rendering whenever I change something in the model, the live sync between my CAD software and the Enscape window, and the ready-made 3D asset library. VR mode is one of my favorite features because I can show clients the live design with a VR headset. The initial setup was easy: I just install it in the CAD software toolbar, and one button does everything, with no complex configuration or rendering settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

I’ve faced slow rendering times and slow design iteration with Enscape. It also uses a lot of system resources, and I need a high-end graphics card to make it work. If a system doesn’t have a dedicated high-end GPU, it usually hangs during client meetings. I’d like an option to limit GPU/VRAM use so the system doesn’t crash. The annual subscription is also a bit expensive compared to a one-time purchase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enscape Makes Interactive 3D Visualization Fast and Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

The most useful feature of Enscape, for me, is that it turns 3D models into an interactive visual experience without a complicated workflow. In research, it’s important to present an idea or technical concept in a way that other people can understand easily. Being able to explore a 3D scene from different angles, grasp the details, and quickly see the visual result of changes helps make discussions clearer and more effective. I also appreciate the direct link between modeling and visualization, since it reduces the extra effort of creating a separate visual after every change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

When a project includes 3D models or complex scenes with a lot of detail, the software’s performance can suffer. In particular, the workflow can slow down if there isn’t a GPU with enough capacity to handle the load. I’d also like to see more control over lighting, materials, and other rendering settings. It’s helpful for producing good visuals quickly, but stronger customization options would make it easier to achieve results that match specific needs. Overall, improved performance and more detailed rendering controls would make the software more convenient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth SketchUp-to-VR Visuals That Boost Client Confidence"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

It has helped us to show our clients their house design before products are even ordered so they can understand spaces, make changes, and feel more confident in what they are about to build. We save the standalone files for our VR headsets and those are great for sharing with our contractors. We have found that the standalone weblink has been a benefit to our clients. They are able to view their project at home on their web browser and can then easily share it with friends and family. It works great with Sketchup and renders smoothly on our VR headsets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

I have found that the weblink graphics are not nearly as good as the standalone file. This has been a source of some disappointment with our clients. The other issue we find is that the standalone .exe files require a rather powerful computer to run them which the average homeowner does not have which means we cannot guarantee they'll be able to view the file if we sent it to them. If there could be a way to enhance the graphic level to match the standalone .exe files but have it still run on a browser or some other platform to allow the clients to see their project, that would be appreciated. We have also found that because it has the .exe file extension, occasionally Windows Defender or other virus software will flag the files and either prevent the file from being downloaded or opened until that software is trained to recognize it is not a virus. If there is a different file extension that could be selected, that may prevent that issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Must Have for Revit Concepts!"
5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

As someone who's favorite part of a project is the renderings, it is a must for all drafters like myself. I was introduced to Enscape last year and it has improved my workflow ever since. Being able to make changes in real time as well as being able to pause changes, helps given if I'm working on a super detailed project. I love the simplicity and how easy it integrates into my Revit workflow. Performance wise, it runs smoothly and performance can easy be adjusted if working on a low-end computer.

When I first began using Enscape, I was able to teach myself with the help of YouTube videos.

Personally, I have not used the AI features but hope to delve deeper into that side soon when I have some free time to play around with it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

There's nothing specific I dislike; I think the one thing I'd like is if there were more customization options with the furniture. That would be pretty cool!

For someone who is detailed oriented, I'd love to be able to fully customize everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and intuitive renderings, with an expanding library"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Enscape?

I really like the quality of the images and the speed of navigating through the project in the walk-through. I also appreciate the visualization and optimization that artificial intelligence provides. Enscape is easy and intuitive to use; I can walk through the project and see what's happening, especially in interior architecture. It helps me generate images and perspectives quickly, without needing to master the tool, and I still achieve a very good result. It also helps me present and sell the project idea to the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Enscape?

I miss a more extensive library, with more objects, decorations, and lighting fixtures. When I started subscribing to Enscape, I had difficulties and several configuration problems, but I managed to solve them after making complaints. Since then, I haven't had any more problems.
