What do you like best about Empat?

They are extremely communicative and responsive. We met at the beginning of each week to discuss what functions/pages were being worked on that week as well as any roadblocks or decisions needed. After each meeting they provided notes and a recording of what was discussed. At the end of each week, they provided a detailed summary of what was completed and what, if any, problems arose. We communicated daily over Slack and they were always available to meet virtually for more in depth discussions as needed. The deliverable came out exactly as expected as they communicated progress, demos, and updates in real time throughout the entirety of the project. If you want to implement a change to the design, they discuss with the team to give you an estimated timeline and cost before you have to make any decisions. What do you dislike about Empat?

There were none - I had a great experience with them and look forward to continuing to use them as Spilt grows! They involved me with every decision big/small and always kept me updated verbally and in writing so I knew exactly how much progress was made at any given point. The only "negative" was working with the time difference - at some points I was in Hawaii and they were in Europe - but even during those times they went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule so it was never an issue. Recommendations to others considering Empat:

They are really knowledgeable and genuinely care about making the best product for you. There are cheaper development options out there, but they come with risks that the product won't be what you want and you'll have to start over. I really feel they offer a great value for money - they are in the mid range for pricing but their deliverables and communication are impeccable. It was so worth it to get my app to be developed exactly how I wanted it. They show you demos throughout the project so you can see how the app works and make changes as necessary. They also allow you to use thre TestFlight versions of the app and offer feedback, etc. The app came out exactly as we discussed - which was not shocking because their communication efforts left no room for guessing. They are worth every penny and will offer different ideas/solutions to work with your budget so you could cut down costs even more. Empat was responsible for developing the front and back end of my app and designing its UI/UX for both iOS and Android. While I have an internal designer handling the color scheme, fonts, and wireframes, Empat has created most of the app. They started by creating a backlog based on my ideas and provided consultation on best practices. Their UI/UX designer then made a mockup, which I approved before development began. Empat also conducted user interviews and gathered feedback from 50 users, testing the app in Ukraine and the US.
