It harnesses the power of Object Pascal, but code compiles to Java Script. The user does not need to program in Java Script. EWB comes with a built-in web server. Data driven web apps are a particular strength, as would be expected from a developer with two established database products. EWB is a mature product, and there has just been a major release to version 3. It is supported by an active community and responsive developer. **What do you dislike about Elevate Web Builder?** The developer community is relatively small. This is offset by the high degree of support available online in respect of Object Pascal. Contrary to suggestions elsewhere, Delphi in particular is alive and well. **What problems is Elevate Web Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have created several apps using EWB, including client-side and progressive web apps. ### 2. It took me a few hours on and off to complete my site using Elevate. I could see someone with more experience completing the same tasks in half the time. **What do you dislike about Elevate Web Builder?** It was pricier compared to other options. For someone with more experience, I would recommend another product but for someone with general understanding of web design, this product could work for you if you can afford it. **What problems is Elevate Web Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking to utilize this product to help guide me through the web design process without the help of a personal designer, which is more costly. ### 3. Also, it is good for web designers who want to implement web applications with fundamental knowledge of database and front-end language like javascript. **What do you dislike about Elevate Web Builder?** The price is a bit too high and it is not a promising option for web developers who can actually code and design web applications. The lack of documentation also let me down. The "Object Pascal" language is a dying language that few developers familiar with. After trying the product for a trial version, I decided to go back to the step of searching better RAD tools. **Recommendations to others considering Elevate Web Builder:** If you know Object Pascal and familiar with delphi development, you might want to try. Otherwise, I think it's better to look for other RAD tool. **What problems is Elevate Web Builder solving and how is that benefiting you?** What I am expected to achieve from this tool is to implement small to medium web applications easily and quickly. However, the lack of control for all the auto generated code is getting messy and becomes out of control after a while. ### 4. But, on the other hand, we can't rely on WYSIWYG editors when we think about code quality and standards.
