Elastic docs Reviews & Product Details

Elastic Docs is a hosted documentation platform for teams where writers, product managers, and engineers all work on the docs, and nobody should need Git to do it. Everyone edits the same page in a Notion-style block editor, with live cursors, inline comments, and threads. There are no branches, change requests, or merges. Pages support callouts, tabs, steppers, columns, code blocks, tables, variables, and native Mermaid diagrams. An AI Style Reviewer checks every page against your style guide (Microsoft, Google, Chicago, or your own) for voice, clarity, banned terms, and structure. It explains each finding and offers one-click fixes. Publish branded docs sites on your own domain, or export the same content to HTML, PDF, EPUB, and Markdown. Every publish is a versioned checkpoint you can restore in one click. Content is Markdown-native, so you can export it at any time on every plan. Developers and AI agents get an API and an official CLI with a drop-in skill for coding agents like Claude Code. Agents can read your page tree and update pages safely with scoped keys and ETags. You can import existing docs from GitHub. Pricing is flat per workspace, never per seat or per site. Free covers one site. Pro is $29/month with unlimited sites, unlimited editors, and a custom domain. Business is $99/month.
