The Partnership Managers are truely amazing and are willing to help you in any way even beyond the initial setup and trainings which have good documentation. The curriculum is usable by all of our students from test prep or military placement to honor's courses and beyond. We have even been able to offer a virtual academy for those students who learn better at a distance. **What do you dislike about Edmentum Courseware?** The call in custoner support is slow and sometimes not very helpful, but reaching out to your Partnership Manager can make huge improvements. **Recommendations to others considering Edmentum Courseware:** Edmentum has been a growing company and if you are looking for a virtual solution or just one for online, this tool is an excellent beginning. **What problems is Edmentum Courseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to host an online virtual school with this solution, so we are losing fewer students to virtual schools. ### 2. I also really like the interactive content - there are a ton of different tools to learn - videos, animations and simulation learning. This was helpful to keep my kids engaged. **What do you dislike about Edmentum Courseware?** This is an online learning tool, so you will need to be a bit technical savvy to troubleshoot things on occasion. There is no social learning or peer learning (that I saw) available in the tool which could be a great way to introduce a social element for kids to interact. **What problems is Edmentum Courseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a comprehensive online learning tool with effective online learning tools and courses for my child when he is not in the classroom as he has special needs. ### 4. I can edit an assignment to include more content on the level of the student while teaching them the standards they need to know. **What do you dislike about Edmentum Courseware?** I dislike how you need an admin to assess to view the consumer and secret key. It would be beneficial to consider their classes through the school's LMS portal so that teachers can focus more on teaching and less on grading work. I noticed that if you remove a student that is not using the software, it keeps adding them to the class no matter how many times I remove it from the screen. **What problems is Edmentum Courseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** Because of the flexible nature of Edmentum coursework, my students can maintain excellent grades, and I can meet the needs of my students on an individual level. ### 5. Virtual Learning Life Saver **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021 **What do you like best about Edmentum Courseware?** The lessons in Edmentum were planned ahead of time, aligned with state standards, and set up with a pacing guide to help teachers and students cover all content within a school year. **What do you dislike about Edmentum Courseware?** Depending on the course, some lessons require flash. Our students' chromebooks are no longer compatible with flash, and so teachers had to create their own assessments in place of those. The student's work was not easy as the work opened in a Microsoft Word file or PDF. Students had to input answers, save a new copy, and then upload the new copy. Many students were confused and uploaded the initial assignment. Many students are so used to Drive that they did not save assuming it would do it for them. **What problems is Edmentum Courseware solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Edmentum, our school district was able to offer a viable alternative to in-person instruction due to covid.
