Edificius is not just a BIM software, it is a true ally for both architectural, structural, and energy studies. Extremely easy to use, powerful in the realization of projects of all kinds. One of the strengths, for me, lies in the instant update of every drawing (from the plan to the elevation to the section to the axonometry) following even the slightest change of any element, saving me hours of work compared to the classic two-dimensional project on CAD. I don't think there is anything useless. Of course, like all the best software, there are always some improvements that could be made. Specifically, I would like to be able to manage free tables with cells that perform calculations or, at the very least, integrate OLE objects (like an Excel table or a Word text). It is particularly noteworthy the ability to create renderings useful for project control from a compositional point of view. The production of graphic documents is complete and very immediate: any correction during the design phase is automatically updated in all the sheets, an aspect that allows optimizing the study and reducing the evaluation time of different design solutions. What I like most about Edificius is its simplicity and ease of use. Well, in particular, there is a problem that I have not been able to solve, which is when making the installation plans, keeping the labels of the elements on the plans. When I draft and print them, they appear fine, but when I save the file and try to retrieve it in later phases, the labels have disappeared and the plans do not remain as I originally saved them. I find the management of the WINDOW tool complex, especially with the tree scheme for creating customizations. The quality of materials during rendering could be improved, as PBR maps are missing, which would give more realism to the textures. The simplicity in creating photomontages also leaves something to be desired, as it does not allow the background to be excluded for modification with other software. The yellow and red tools are not yet sufficiently advanced for use in building practices, and there is no possibility to create real construction details. This is an excellent BIM software for Architectures . It is very user friendly & has lot of features which give you details like Working Plan, Elevation, Section Views of 3D model .

Since user works in 3D environment , getting 2D drawings in DWG is very useful which eliminates the recreating of DWG drawings

I greatly appreciate the flexibility and essential nature of Edificius, which perfectly adapt to the needs of the architectural designer. Managing rasters and DWG references in the drawings is somewhat problematic. It would be useful to be able to crop images and import DWGs more precisely, especially by assigning different thicknesses to various entities. Additionally, I would like to better manage the modification and solid modeling of 3D objects directly with Edificius CAD, rather than using third-party programs, since it is provided with Edificius.
