"Edgescan: Easy Setup, Clear Insights, and Expert Security Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

The folks at Edgescan are experts, and passionate about all things security; this shines through both the Edgescan platform, and through their excellent customer support.

I found the the platform is very easy to set up, the information and output is clear and detailed, making addressing findings much easier as you're armed with a wealth of knowledge not only on the finding, but how to close the gap.

It's been easy to integrate into our existing engineering and security processes and tooling.

It's simple to set up automated vulnerability scans - and easy to automate those to run frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

I don't dislike anything - Edgescan has done everything I needed, and more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Attack Surface Visibility with Clear Risk Prioritization and Expert Validation"
4/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

Edgescan provides excellent visibility into our external attack surface and helps us efficiently manage vulnerability remediation. The platform combines continuous vulnerability scanning with expert validation, which significantly reduces false positives and allows our team to focus on genuine security risks. We particularly value the clear risk prioritization, detailed remediation guidance, and comprehensive reporting capabilities, which support both our operational security processes and compliance requirements such as PCI DSS. The support team is highly responsive, and the platform has helped us improve collaboration between security, infrastructure, and development teams while maintaining a strong security posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

While Edgescan provides strong vulnerability discovery and validation capabilities, there are some areas where the platform could improve. The user interface can sometimes feel less intuitive when navigating large numbers of assets and findings, particularly when performing detailed analysis or reporting. Custom reporting and dashboard flexibility could also be enhanced to better support different stakeholder audiences. Additionally, tighter integrations with a broader range of security and ITSM platforms would help streamline remediation workflows and reduce manual effort. While the support team is responsive, some advanced feature requests can take time to be implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Security Scanning with Top-Notch Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

I really like the Edgescan console because it always brings new functionality and provides most of the information I need, which is easy to use. The support is fantastic as well, with great customer service from Tim Lekan and Louise Fitzgerald, who have been wonderful. Furthermore, all of the information I need about pentests, applications, and vulnerabilities is in one location, making it very convenient to distribute to teams as needed. Edgescan also integrates well, as we have it piping vulnerability information into multiple VM tools. I find the setup to be very flexible and adaptable, with Tim and Louise being very helpful with changes like jump box configurations and adapting to using internal accounts for pentests. What do you dislike about Edgescan?

I'm not sure improvement is possible, but there are some occasions where the ops team seems to make mistakes regarding scanning a website or with accidentally overdoing it with too many RPS. These things happen though. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Vulnerability Scanning, Needs UI Improvements"
3/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

I like the validated, near false positive free vulnerability scanning of Edgescan. It was easy to set up and scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

The user interface is not particularly user-friendly and has proven challenging to navigate efficiently. Key functions and settings are not always intuitive, making it difficult to perform common tasks without additional guidance. As a result, users have experienced delays in completing activities and identifying the root cause of issues.

In addition, the current challenges with email delivery and the recurring "Failed to construct the email" error have further impacted the overall user experience. Due to these ongoing issues, we have been unable to utilize the tool effectively or realize its intended value. We would appreciate a prompt investigation and guidance on how these issues can be resolved so that the platform can be used in a more meaningful and productive manner. "Robust Security Testing with Exceptional Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

I like that Edgescan offers a monthly test which aligns perfectly with our monthly releases. The function-rich portal is great because it typically gives us all the information we need. I also appreciate having a responsive support team even though we rarely need them, it's great to know they are there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

In the portal, it would be great if the statistics would provide a more recent view, for example the last 3 or 5 years rather than all time (8 years in our case). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly interaction for the majority of the features"
4/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

The friendly interface that you can navigate the platform with ease and access any of the assets.

The notification system for any blocked assets or newly uploaded vulnerabilities.

The different style of reports are very good as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

I can't say that I dislike any of the features that the platform has to offer.

The one thing that I had issues in the past when I started using Edgescan was the Filtering system, the way you could customise the filter to your specific needs. I don't have any problems with it at this stage but this was a big hurdle at the start.

A separated section could be created for Penetration Tests, to be a designated section separated from the Ongoing Scanning results / process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich Asset Management with Granular Tags and Configuration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Edgescan?

Everything expressed here is based off my personal experience with Edgescan and doesn't reflect my Employer's thoughts. Its feature rich with options for me to navigate to assets have granular tags and configuration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edgescan?

Everything expressed here is based off my personal experience with Edgescan and doesn't reflect my Employer's thoughts.. No dislike but at this point i m reaching out to the CSM for tasks like changing an asset from external to internal or add user role to any users which would be good if I have flexibility to add it.

Also, when it comes to Asset blockers once it is resolved it doesnt show up anywhere. It would be good to have the block history as a part of the Asset itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
