I appreciate using EcoVadis as it gives us an annual feedback on our system, which helps in understanding where we stand, our strong points, and our weak points. This third-party feedback is an additional motivator and push for colleagues to address issues. It's also big because EcoVadis is highly used in the industry. Besides this, I consider EcoVadis the biggest player, especially in our industry, which is why we plan to continue with it. I really appreciate the assessments, and I always address these with colleagues to tackle the identified gaps before renewing with EcoVadis. What do you dislike about EcoVadis? One weak point I see with EcoVadis is the very extended questionnaire. In times where resources are limited, it's difficult to get the answers from colleagues. Also, there's a limitation on the number of documents I'm allowed to upload. With hundreds of questions, it would be ideal if I could upload a different document for each answer instead of combining evidence into one PDF file. It would sometimes be a headache working around this limitation. What problems is EcoVadis solving and how is that benefiting you? EcoVadis helps us tackle one of the biggest challenges in sustainability—bringing structure and credibility to our efforts. Before using EcoVadis, it was difficult to consolidate all our environmental, social, and ethical practices into a single framework that customers and partners could trust. The platform highlights gaps and best practices, helping us prioritize actions for improvement. We can clearly communicate our sustainability performance to stakeholders. The EcoVardis academy, which i completed up to practitioner level, was a great resource for training and guidance. The easy and very visible improvement plan is very useful also. I find EcoVadis to be a good tool for supplier assessment. I like the structure with the 4 pillars and the 21 KPIs that helps in organized assessment. Sometimes opening the questionnaires takes a long time after registration, and there have been issues with scorecard mismatches due to bugs.
