Has a capacity to lend a wide spectrum of varied information database on both provider and patient analysis which can be used to investigate and hone in on any obstacles in accounts for a medical bill. **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** The system lacks any auto updating infrastructure which is not a must but could be a defining factor for a state of the art medical software. Laggy launch and systematic crash outs are not uncommon. **Recommendations to others considering eClinicalWorks RCM:** Do use it atleast once. It's best selling point I would say is the UI/UX and the stacks of information you could access in one place. Fairly intuitive and reporting is decent. We have been on eCW for over 10 years both for EMR & for RCM. We do not see a reason to change any time soon. It fits our needs both on a clinical side and for rCM purposes. **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** Reporting can be hit and miss. However, once you get to know their EBO reporting system it gets a lot easier. I will say that they have gotten a lot better over the years. We have figured it out and have set reports that we run monthly and quarterly for RCM. I strongly suggest that new users get a set EBO report training from eCW. Also, if you need a specific report that they don't offer, you can have one custom built by eCW but it can be spendy to do so. **What problems is eClinicalWorks RCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We don't have any current issues with eCW. However, when we do, we can easily chat online to find answers or we can open a ticket with them to fix the issue. No current concerns. We have had issues with upgrades in the past, but since moving to cloud-based it seems to have gotten better. We also are unsure about how it will go when they move to 100% web-based platform vs. having the option to be 'desktop' .exe based. I do the medical billing portion for our office and this software has been the easiest to use in my 15 years of medical billing. Also, ECW customer service is always very quick to get back to our office if we are having an issue. **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** My only dislike is when we wanted to updated the "look" of our statements, it was quite the process. **What problems is eClinicalWorks RCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our RCM has been great and we have not had any claims issues since we have been with ECW. First off, they have a 98% first-pass acceptance which is much higher than the average acceptance, and the workflow process is immaculate. The clearinghouse integration is composed of 6 levels, and claim adjudication runs in real-time. **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** Although RCM is lower in fees than other competitors, the expense of the software itself is pretty expensive. They try to make up for it, though with a lower fee on a monthly cycle. **Recommendations to others considering eClinicalWorks RCM:** They offer billing services at a rate of 2.9% of monthly collected revenue while other competitors are asking for around 5%, which makes this medical claims software more attractive compared to other choices, and it's just as efficient if not more than other options in the market. **What problems is eClinicalWorks RCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** eClinicalWorks revenue cycle management features allow the practice to benefit from keeping strong visibility in the revenue cycle process. It enables us to filter through medical claims and process financial performance daily. It flows from each part of the patient chart. **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** I do not like the ID scanner that syncs to the EMR, it's faulty and sometimes I have to enter the ID multiple times to get a clean copy. **What problems is eClinicalWorks RCM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are no longer misplacing paper charts or lab results because now they are automatically uploaded. They have a 98% first pass success rate due to their rules engines. It frees up the office staff quite a bit for other tasks. Overall, though, it was cheaper to hire a full time biller **What do you dislike about eClinicalWorks RCM?** When we went with this service we thought we would no longer need a biller.
