The tool is easy to use and video can be uploaded easily. The assignment features offer ways for instructors to create peer sharing/ class sharing or individual views between instructor and teacher. The comments section is also great because the instructor and other peers can leave the participant (teacher) comments/suggestions about specific video instances. The downside is that participants cannot create their own code buttons. The instructor needs to create the code buttons that the participant will use to analyze their uploaded video. This can be troublesome if you are using the tool for reflective purposes and want the participant to create their own code buttons based on their goal/ feelings etc. Therefore I would not say the tool allows for much autonomy which is a huge downside for me. My experience with GoReact has been outstanding! For me it is intuitive, user friendly, easy to maneuver through, use and manage. Best of all, it allows me to give specific feedback to each ST about every moment and component of their lesson, their teaching strategies, classroom management, best practices and a ST can watch themselves teach and read my comments at the exact time they see what it is they are doing. There is nothing better than this! Having the ability to go back and watch themselves teach is a gift that they can learn and grow from since their comments ate timestamped on their video in real-time. This is a truly authentic, purposeful and meaningful way to mentor, guide and support our student teachers. After I watch their video and create my written observation form for their file, I share the written document with them and my ST and I have a phone or Zoom conference debrief so we are still connecting personally, discussing and going over everything together at a time that is convenient for both of us. All of my student teachers have used GoReact for some of their observations this term and all agree it is easy to use, to upload their videos and they greatly appreciate having both their video and my written comments and observations of their lesson from beginning to end to refer back to and learn from. GoReact not only was the answer to all of our needs as we transitioned into online therapy training after the beginning of the COVID-19. It has completely enhanced our training practices. It is easy to use and simple to understand. I couldn't be happier with it! We have used it to record telehealth sessions in our clinic and to teach therapeutic skills in clinical classes. There are one or two downsides. For example, if you are recording video through a web conference call (e.g. zoom; which we use for clinical services) it will not record the computer audio if you are using headphones. We have tried all sorts of fixes, but haven't ever been able to get that to work.

Unfortunately, the web conferencing doesn't always work very well either. Anytime I've had more than 3 people, we've had issues with sharing screens and people getting kicked out of the meeting. GoReact meets all of the needs to provide timely and effective feedback for student teachers. As I continue to use GoReact I may find areas for improvement; however, at this point, I do not have any recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to do real-time markers and feedback. I also like that you can do a video and voice-recorded response for your students. With our internal platform, you were limited to only 2 minutes to provide feedback which wasn't often enough. Students also say that it is easy to review their peer speeches. Another aspect I appreciate is that I was able to provide a rubric for peer reviews and a seperate one for my reviews. That was an important consideration for me when testing the product. The issue has since been resolved, but there were no page numbers with our textbook A Pocket Guide to Public Speaking in the online textbook. Considering that I often say reference page ___ in my assignments, this created quite an issue for me. It has since been fixed, however.

I also wish there was a way in LaunchPad to assign students which speeches they will evaluate? For example, each student is randomly assigned 4 peer speeches to evaluate? GoReact is very user-friendly. I like how you can upload videos in a variety of formats. GoReact allows me to communicate and share ideas with colleagues who I would not be able to otherwise due to distance. Go React makes it easy to communicate ideas and feedback to colleagues. Ithas helped me self-assess my teaching skills as I use it for student teaching observations. I appreciate being able to recieve real-time detailed feedback from observers and colleagues. One downside of using GoReact is I can only see the student view. Sometimes this can cause communication/ understanding gaps between the group owner and the group members. I have never had any technical issues with GoReact personally, but one of my administrators had difficultues when setting up a new group. The best part of GoReact is the comment feature for the videos. We grade student presentations for class, and giving students feedback during the entire video presentation is excellent. You can stop and comment anytime during the video for feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using the tool for Academic feedback for student presentations, so far, the most annoying part is the uploading of videos to the system if you are doing it from Google drive. There isn't a feature yet from uploading videos directly from Google drive. But they say they are working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is straightforward for student use. As a professor, I incorporated a GoReact presentation as part of course requirements due to the shift to online classes at my university. Students were able to upload slides and record their presentations easily with GoReact. Though I did not use the grading function, it was an option that was available for professors/teachers. I like how GoReact allows students to record on the site or upload from their phone or other devices. It makes the uploading process much easier. The ways that GoReact allows for comments to be made on the videos is not the best. It either makes it a comment that students rarely see or you have to upload a file with comments, so I typically have to email each student separately with specific comments on their speeches.
