"Build Powerful Agents in Minutes with Dust"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

Dust makes it genuinely easy to build agents. You can go from an idea to a working assistant in minutes, without needing engineering help. The connector and MCP ecosystem is a big part of that. Plugging into our existing tools meant our agents actually had the context they needed to be useful for support and RevOps work. On top of that, the value for money is hard to beat compared to other platforms we looked at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

Nothing, best product ever, I recommend so far Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a PM on the data and integrations side, a lot of my work involves pulling context from scattered tools and turning it into something actionable. Dust solves that by letting me build agents that connect directly to our stack, so instead of jumping between tools and copy-pasting, I get answers grounded in our actual data. The biggest benefit is speed: investigations and analyses that used to take an afternoon now take minutes, and I can hand the same agents to teammates who don't want to do that legwork themselves. "Amazing tool from an amazing team"

5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

What I appreciate most about Dust is its user-friendly interface combined with powerful capabilities. The platform excels in three key areas: simplicity in creating and customizing AI agents, secure handling of company data, and seamless access to various LLM models. The ability to easily share information and collaborate with team members while maintaining data privacy makes it particularly valuable for business use. Love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

The main limitation is the lack of image generation capabilities. While Dust excels in text-based AI operations, having built-in image generation features would make it an even more comprehensive AI solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dust solves the challenge of securely leveraging AI capabilities within a business context. It benefits me by providing a safe environment to create specialized AI agents that can access company data, while maintaining data privacy. The platform's ease of use and powerful collaboration features streamline information sharing among team members, making it an efficient solution for enterprise-wide AI implementation. "Easy, Fast Email Campaigns with Seamless HubSpot Connectivity"

4/5

What do you like best about Dust?

As a marketer, I've enabled dust to help me create and organize my email campaigns. Something that would take me a dayish has been reduced to minutes. I was honestly floored.

It's easy. The connectivity right into hubspot made things so straightforward.

I can now launch more campaigns, more complex campaigns, and have a highly robust email marketing process that appropriately targets each of our segments in ways I wished I had more time to do before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

I think the copywriting still needs some work. I find I have to prompt it a bit more than I’d like, but it’s workable.

When I’m building email campaigns in HubSpot using custom modules, things can get a bit buggy whenever I make manual edits. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’ve always wished I could do more with email marketing, but I never had the time. Now I can accomplish what I wanted in a fraction of the time, which frees me up to focus on other tasks or more strategic work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Responsive Access to the Latest Models with Powerful Agents"

4/5

What do you like best about Dust?

The ability to use all the latest models with high responsiveness and speed is appreciated. The agents and skills are powerful, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

I think the system could be more open and the UI more pleasant—making it easier to find past conversations—and Dust could be more proactive regarding knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a designer at ERES, I mainly use Dust for writing: functional specs, UX content (microcopy, interface text, error messages), and documentation for my screens. Before, drafting this content took a disproportionate amount of time relative to its value — rephrasing a spec for different audiences (dev, PO, business teams), adapting the same error message into several variants, or structuring notes from a UX workshop.

With Dust, I save significant time on these repetitive tasks: I can generate a first draft of a spec or UX content in just a few minutes, which I then refine with my domain expertise and knowledge of ERES's employee savings products. The benefit isn't just speed — it's also freeing up time for the part of the job that adds the most value: discussions with teams and iterating on user journeys. "Easy Setup, Simple to Use, and Very Affordable"

4/5

What do you like best about Dust?

Easy to setup, use and v v v affordable! I love that I’ve been able to chain multiple agents together to get the results that I want. I still like to review what it’s creating but it’s good enough to not even need that! Thank you so much to the Dust team for such a fantastic product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

I don’t think it’s something that I dislike, per se, but I wish I could connect to multiple accounts and emails without having to pay per seat for it. I’m a freelancer and that would be quite a nice change as I keep working across multiple clients and workspaces. This is a great product for teams, and still fantastic for freelancers like me, but it locks me in with just the one account which is a bit of a shame. I have found ways around it though 👀 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving all my research and outreach problems. Helping me go from 0 to 100 very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From scattered knowledge to working AI agents, in days"

5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

Dust is the fastest path I've found to deploy real AI agents inside a small or mid-sized business, without months of setup or a dedicated tech team. For SMEs ecosystem, where resources are tight and expectations are high, that speed to value is everything. I can connect mine or a client's existing tools, build tailored agents on top of data, and have something working in days, not quarters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

The onboarding curve for non-technical users is still steep. When I deployed Dust for my business, the platform itself is rarely the blocker, but getting the team to understand how to interact with agents, build and manage knowledge sources, and trust the outputs takes time and hand-holding. Pricing is also something I navigate carefully with clients: it can be hard to project costs at the start of a deployment, before you know how many users will actually adopt the platform and how intensively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dust solves a problem I see constantly : sit on a lot of internal knowledge, processes, and operational data, but none of it is accessible at the right moment, by the right person. Everything is scattered across folders, inboxes, or locked inside people's heads.

As a Dust user, I deploy agents that connect directly to that existing knowledge and make it actionable. A sales team can instantly query their own client context. An ops manager gets answers grounded in their actual process documentation, not a generic AI response. That shift from generic to specific is what changes how people relate to AI at work.

The business impact is real: fewer back-and-forth emails, faster onboarding for new hires, better consistency in customer-facing responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An indispensable AI platform that keeps getting better"

5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

The constant evolution of the product. In two years of use, I've watched Dust grow from a great idea into a genuinely indispensable tool for our team. The team ships meaningful updates regularly, and you can tell they are truly listening to their users. The platform is powerful, flexible, and it keeps getting better. It has changed the way we work, and I wouldn't go back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

Honestly, the hardest part is keeping up with all the new features! Dust ships updates so frequently that it can be a challenge to stay on top of everything, integrate new capabilities into our workflows, and make sure the whole team is aware of what's possible. But to be clear, that's entirely on us, not on Dust. If anything, it's a good problem to have. The product moves fast, and sometimes we're the bottleneck, not the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dust eliminates the time we used to waste searching for information across tools. Everything is connected, and our team gets answers instantly. But beyond knowledge management, Dust now enables true end-to-end workflows, thanks to MCP integrations, triggers, and automation capabilities. We can build agents that don't just answer questions but actually take action. That's a game changer for productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dust Transformed Our Product Analytics with Fast, Collaborative AI Agents"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

I lead a Product Analytics team, and Dust has genuinely changed how we handle our day-to-day work from initial data discovery and generating quick visualizations to full analysis automation. Our analytics agents now actively partner with our analysts to help confirm hypotheses with data.

What stands out to me is how easy it is to get started without sacrificing depth. You can build a simple agent in just a few minutes, but the platform is flexible enough to handle advanced use cases using Schedules, Frames, Pods, and MCP connectors. The MCP setup in particular has been huge for us: we've connected Dust to a lot of our internal tools using both native connectors and custom MCPs.

Another major differentiator is collaboration. While most AI tools focus strictly on individual productivity, Dust actually makes it easy for a whole team to work together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

A few practical points to have in mind:

\* Support workload and response times: Likely due to high demand, response times from support can occasionally be a bit longer than we'd hope. Even if we always end up with a good answer, it is important to also build internal expertise through internal "champions" to be very reactive on helping internal users.

\* Snowflake query timeouts: If you use the Snowflake MCP integration, there’s currently a timeout limit enforced on Dust side. That means we can't use Dust to run heavy calculations through Snowflake MCP it should be used to pull value from optimized tables instead. It won't remove the need for solid data foundations, but it's one more reason to invest in them.

\* Credit management: With the introduction of the credit quota pricing model, we have to shift from a pure "building" mindset to a "build, measure, and optimize" mindset to maintain a high ROI. We're actively preparing for this, and Dust is working on features to help with the shift, but it will take extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dust helps us speed up our entire analytics workflow, allowing our analysts to move from raw data to validated insights much faster. We saw a clear ROI within our first year of usage. It’s been a transformative year for our team, and we're really just getting started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich, Easy-to-Use Platform with Excellent Support"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

I like Dust because it's easy to build on and lets me get my head around building agents without being a developer. I appreciate the unique capabilities function, which isn't just about linking agents to data sources but also involves describing how they should interact with the information. I find this a distinct advantage compared to other platforms. I also like the support; Elias from support was really helpful and quickly resolved an issue I had with my account setup. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy, even though I made a mistake with the email I used. The no-code nature of the platform is great for navigating and is very useful for someone like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

The main weakness I noticed with Dust is the lack of an effective onboarding experience for new users. After creating and account, I expected an interactive tutorial or guided walkthrough explaining the platform's layout, key features and where to begin. Instead, I was dropped directly into the interface and had to figure everything out on my own. While Dust does offer helpful resources such as YouTube videos, documentation, a knowledge base, community discussions and support, finding and using those resources assumed a certain level of technical confidence. As someone familiar with AI tools, I was able to navigate and learn the platform without too much difficulty, but I think less technical users would likely find the initial experience confusing and overwhelming. A simple in-product onboarding flow or guided tour would make the platform much more approachable and significantly improve the first-time user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Dust to build AI agents that analyze our sprint boards and provide summaries, making it easy to access historical sprint data and enhance operations. It's user-friendly for non-developers like me, offering unique capabilities for agent interaction, unlike other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Fast, and Great Value—Dust Makes Agentic AI Accessible"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Dust?

Dust is intuitive and easy to use, while offering access to many of the tools and integrations that companies rely on every day. Performance is also great, responses are generally fast, reliable, and useful, even when handling more complex requests.

It makes agentic AI accessible to everyone, including people without a technical background. Dust helps automate repetitive tasks, save time, and support everyday work without requiring users to understand the technology behind it. Dust not only improves existing workflows, but also opens the door to new tasks and possibilities that teams may not have explored before.

A major strength is that Dust is not just a generic AI tool. It can be enriched with the context and knowledge of an organization, making its responses and support much more relevant in practice.

The value for money is also excellent compared with similar tools on the market.

Finally, the support team is highly responsive and genuinely listens to user feedback. It is great to see that requests are taken seriously and can influence the development of new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dust?

Some MCP tool connections can occasionally be unreliable when handling complex tasks or large amounts of data. For example, Dust has sometimes created duplicate pages in Notion even when the instructions explicitly stated not to do so.

There have also been instances where an other MCP connection became disconnected or its permissions changed without any action from our side. These issues are not constant, but they can interrupt workflows and require additional monitoring or manual corrections. Improved connection stability, permission consistency, and safeguards against unintended duplicate actions would make the experience even more reliable.

Lastly, I would be happy if Dust would introduce external triggers as well at one point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dust solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dust provides a secure, company-approved AI environment that can be used across the organization. Having multiple AI models and tools available in one controlled place reduces the risk of employees sharing sensitive information with external or unapproved AI services.

It helps automate repetitive work, provides support with everyday tasks, and opens up new possibilities for improving how we work. Since everyone can adapt Dust to their own needs and role, it is useful across different teams and for a wide range of workflows.

Dust also supports team collaboration and knowledge sharing by making useful information and AI capabilities more accessible across the company. In addition, it is often used for monitoring data and presenting information, which makes insights easier to follow and supports more efficient decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
