It crushed and for 105 days I could not get any technical support despite many promises. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Henryk A. K. | Founder and Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Source: Organic:** Organic review. Until it crushed in April this year. Guessing that it could be related to the Windows 10 update, I bought the newest version of the DU Meter on April12. It crushes as well. I exchanged multiple emails with a representative, but never was contacted with any advice or suggestion from technical staff. In case if my problem might be specific to my computer, I offered to pay for technical help, but received no response. An update. After about six months of DU Meter not working, I received an apology from the CEO. Apparently my emails got lost somewhere in the spam folder. I received technical support, and have DU Meter working again. **Recommendations to others considering Du Meter:** Great product. They offer a free limited edition, good for getting acquainted. I had 20 years of good experience, but whoever considers buying it, should be aware that in the case of trouble they do not offer technical support. **What problems is Du Meter solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps in identifying internet service issues. It is very helpful in monitoring transfer of large files. Also it helped me in noticing malware traffic in a few instances. I use it for 20 years, until it crushed 105 days ago. ## Du Meter Discussions - [What is Du Meter used for?](https://www.g2.com/discussions/what-is-du-meter-used-for) - [View Du Meter pricing details and edition comparison](https://www.g2.com/products/du-meter/reviews?section=pricing&secure%5Bexpires_at%5D=2026-10-03+22%3A00%3A22+-0500&secure%5Bsession_id%5D=8bf49eaf-4b32-4022-a272-f1d7c4b75b24&secure%5Btoken%5D=c0dd23bd3b85fa6bd7a05e04c30fd2b4c4c3113c1782ba535ec84622fb5cbfdd&format=llm_user) ## Top Du Meter Alternatives - [Statuspage](https://www.g2.com/products/statuspage/reviews) - 4.2/5.0 (30 reviews) - [Wayvia Prowl](https://www.g2.com/products/wayvia-prowl/reviews) - 4.6/5.0 (10 reviews) - [Datanomix](https://www.g2.com/products/datanomix/reviews) - 4.8/5.0 (7 reviews)
